There's only one feat that fits that description and it isn't leadership.  On the other hand it takes a complete misreading of the rules (which EVERYONE does) to make it a game changer.

You may all take the Leadership feat.  No, what was asked was something very creative.  I can't say it was original, since the source was mentioned.  I'm sure that his/her/its faction will find out at some point.

I was wondering you if all would do me a favor.  In your biography line, put your current HP and AC.  It saves me a little time having to look up everyone's character sheets or add up all the damage you have taken.

About the Leadership feat, I am going to limit that to just the heads of each faction.  However, everyone will get commander rank and auras and there will be other NPC followers and henchmen that you gain independent of the Leadership feat.

On a different note.  If anyone wants to earn some extra XP or DM brownie points, buy the series Malazan Book of the Fallen and read it.  I am using several elements of that series in the game, so it might give you some ideas as to what I am trying to do.  You can also earn brownie points by going on Amazon and buying "A Road Map to Happiness" and/or "Hello, My Name is Nobody" (hint, these are two books that I wrote, so this is just a shameless plug to get me a few more dollars in royalties so I can quit my job and sit at my computer full time).

with regards to HP and AC the Shades hp and AC changes depending upon how much light there is around, how would you like us to make the distinction between each of the values?

Just use the current values.  It is twilight at the moment in your encounter, so that would be dim light.

I intervened.  He is at 1hp.  No one is supposed to die in the encounter.  I was going easy on you guys (and yes, 500 knights attacking your city is easy).

Ignore them flying shadows is cooler. We may be only able to use our cool tricks in darkness but we are mages and there is a simple spell for that. Or base your char of a tiefling same thing happenso

Lso invisibility. Is a cool ability just sucks we can only use it 1/round

Anyone need a reliable fighter? All my allies ran into battle screaming and got cut down. I mean I can probably handle things all on my own, it just seems silly to need to have round after round of me vs tons of mobs.

Hey, I killed tons of mobs before I died.  I think my Death Mark killed 4 of them and did a number on the leader and that was just 1 round.
