Lady Maria waited the casters and ranged folks send in their bombardment when it started, once all had launched their attacks she shouted; "Charge and cut them down!" With that Lady Maria and her soldiers charged upon the wights while they were still shaken from all magical blasts going around on them and conjuring energy walls.

OOC: Lady Maria starts with Leading the Charge stance active. I rolled two following maneuvers to be ready when she launched surprise attack; Revitalizing Strike and Divine Surge. I mark in map where she and soldiers charged into.

Lady Maria rolls 22 hit vs AC (hits normal wight AC), doing 29pts slashing/magic/admantine dmg (kills normal wight). Lady maria struck on Wight18. S1, S2 and S3 focus on Wight19 and S4 and S5 focus on Wight20. All my followers now have greatswords, bucklers and breastplates. Note +7 dmg bonus on charge attacks when they strike.

A smirk of pleasure of a job well done fills Glasenter's face.
The Corporal stands up and moves to Aritrien, putting a hand on his shoulder "Well done, Aritrien." He then turns to the healer. "Ezourer, make sure everyone is allright and let's continue."

The halfling grins, salutes, and gets ready to move out when people are healed.

Lady Maria and her men stepped after bright flash of lightning crisped the remaining wights and finished off with cleaving hacks the remaining ones swiftly. Lady maria cleans her blade with cloth which she discards and sheaths her blade and says; "So far no injuries in our end, so we can depart now." She felt proud that her men who had charged and stood had not got harmed and were effective in creating opening for wights being finished off. Even if no one credited it she did and will comment it on later with her soldiers about it.

Aeron looks over his men and orders them into formation as he surveys the land

Ezourer inspects his dinosaur and gives a quick glance to the rest of the Bridgeburners to see if noone's faking a wound.
The shifter then reports to his Corporal after nodding to Aritrien. "We are ready to go, Corporal."

The next two days of travel pass by uneventfully.  You don't see any signs of life as you progress further into Pannion Doman.  You finally reach the capital city, the probably source of the undead.  It is just beyond the next rise.

Aritrien jogs up next to the Corporal. "What's the plan, sir?"

Ezourer steps forward, right next to Aritrien.
"Should we prepare a scout team, Sir?"

Glasenter nods. "Yep, we must know what we will face before striking. A small party, to not leave the soldiers without a number to defend themselves, should they need."

Then he goes to where Weston and Brightmane are. "We should go and see what kind of defenses we will encounter later. But we shall be silent and few. We don't want the capital city to find out we are here... yet"

Lady Maria had commanded her crew to halt when they had arrived to the scene, wait what other teams are up to. When Glasenter arrives she nods and replies; "I like to take a look of the defenses and any visibly active undead so I can think and plan where contribute to bring this capital down for good."

Aeron listens to Glasenter "Agreed, we need to know what we face."

Aritrien nods. "I would be best left here until you return. I am not terribly...subtle." He grins.

Glasenter just smiles and shrugs his shoulders when Aritrien speaks.
"Aritrien, if they discover our position, we won't have time to be subtle. And we will need you."

Turning to the other leaders, he says:
"Very well then. We should go and see. And since noone of us is very good at being... subtle, Ezourer and Aritrien shall follow us. One can heal, the other can give us more time to escape."

Whoever is going scouting make two hide checks, two move silently checks, and a spot check.

Glasenter advances, trying to move swiftly and silently. Sometimes he success. Sometimes not.
