Delith: 'Following' the golem

You head of down the corridor and leave the door behind.  You go about 20' before the maze turns left and then another 20' and turns right.  Another 30' gets you to a 4 way intersection.  RockJaw indicates that straight ahead is the best path and so you go that way.  This goes on for a while, taking the direction RockJaw indicates at intersections.  He is even able to lead you away from a golem threat.
You start down a long path and after about 50' you notice a large figure ahead, it just stands there.  It is a golem, probably Mithril but you are not sure.  It looks to be 70' away.

"Seems he is waiting for you."  says RockJaw

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 1):

Shorty continues forward cautiously.  At about 40 feet he pauses and says hullo.

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

Aztar continues to mark the trail wanting to have a way back if something were to happen to their guide.  When they spot the golem just standing there, the alchemist seems a bit perplexed, 'Do we need to fight this one then?'

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

Aztar grips the staff and moves up and waits for Warwick to get into position over head, 'Shorty.  It's the magic of this place and the key we need will be inside one of the golems.  The golems aren't permanently destroyed.  We could face the same one numerous times.'

In reply to Aztar (msg # 7):

Warwick floats above Shorty and Aztar.  "Any preparatory spells we should cast?  Potions we should take?  AFter our earlier experience, that is."

He looks over at Rockjaw.  "Can ye fight the golem and win?"

Shorty shrugs.  "Dis one wait so me gives it chance.  Only fair."  Shorty reaches into his pouch to squeeze his new rubber ball before moving forward.

In reply to Aztar (msg # 7):

Trysk asks the group telepathically, *Why are we taking this golem's word that he was sent by Dualis?  Could he be leading us astray?*

In reply to Trysk (msg # 10):

Morteft says, "I need to probably relearn my spells since I am not much of a buffing mage."

He will cast stoneskin on Shorty and mirror image on Warwick.

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

*first thing I did was check with Dualis about RockJaw. He confirmed that he sent him.   He's never been good on communication and letting people know his plans, so it's not surprising he didn't mention the possibility before we left.*

Aztar looks a Morteft hopefully wondering if he has anything to help the alchemist...

"It is adamantium" he mentions a few seconds later.
