In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 874):

Shorty watches Minty smack her brother.  Shorty looks at her and asks.  “Me bery strong.  Gets mo point ifn him head come off?”

At the question about marbles, Shorty pulls a bag out of his belt pouch.  He glances at Ez’ard.  “no bring all dem.  Brings ones dat roll bestus fer games.  Baby got some a me marbles and udders be in room on table.  To manys ta take.”

Shorty then takes on of the plates from the table and dumps his bag onto it.  About 4 dozen gems of various sizes and colors dump out onto the plate.  He pulls aside 6 that are very unusual shapes.  “Dese be da flying marble.  Ken no play wid dem.  No roll gooder.  Shorty points to the rest.  Know many game ta plays wid udders.  Muches fun.”

Re: Delith: Against the Giants

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 878):

"Thanks Father.  We didn't get our main target though.  They're still out there."  Warwick's visage darkens.  "The minions of Set are dangerous.  Ye could help by convincing the King to take the matter seriously.  Everywhere they go, they bring extreme danger.  They've destroyed whole worlds.  They're trying to do that to Delith."

In reply to Warwick (msg # 881):

"Hmmm" is what Warwicks father says and then "There is a time for everything."  He then hugs Warwick and whispers "Good to have ye back."  he then lowers his weight and looks to start pushing Warwick across the ground.  "Come'on boy."

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 884):

OOC:  You didn't give us time to change.  Warwick was still cleaning up when the King called.  And then it was on to dinner.

Warwick takes off his helm.  "Okay, that's the only strength enhancing item I've got."  Warwick grabbed his dad, waited for him to get a good grip and then pushed him backwards.

Re: Delith: Against the Giants

In reply to Warwick (msg # 885):

The pushing match goes on for at least a minute, for the most part it is a stalemate and at the end Warwick goes back a few steps.

Warwicks dad gives a hearty laugh "Keep trying lad, ye may eventually win."  He then slaps Warwicks shoulder and says "Steaks be ready, lets eat."

You all sit around the table and the food is served and there is lively conversation (which you all can supply if you want).

You will all probably notice that Minty is wearing a silver necklace with a battleaxe charm hanging from it.

Dessert is some kind of chocolate pudding.

Afterwards you continue to lounge and chat away.  It is getting late and you are all tired from a long day.

Lady Forgemaker says "You are all welcome to stay the night.  We have some rooms available inside or you can sleep out here.  It is actually nice and cozy, Warry and Minty would sleep out here many times when they were wee ones."

It is pleasant here and the fire does have a soothing sound.

Ez’ard replies, “Well its not the same as sleeping under the stars but it is quite nice all the same. A bedroll and I’ll be all set, and thank you for your wonderful hospitality.”  Ez’ard will settle in and rise after sufficient rest to study his normal non-combat list of spells.

Re: Delith: Against the Giants

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 889):

Shorrty grins and begins to set up,  He looks carefully at the funny shaped marbles and then just tosses them over his head to get them out of the way.  They begin to circle Shorty’s head at various speeds.  Shorty gets done one the ground and draws a circle in the dirt about the diameter of his arm.  Then he hands Minty one of the larger marbles.  “Fer shooting>”  Thin Shorty places the rest of the marbles in the center of the circle.  He takes his own larger marble and flicks it at the pile in the middle of the circle.  His large marble hits the pile and one of the small marbles pops out.  He picks up his shoorter and places it beside the shooter.  “Me gets 1.  Youse turn Minty.”

OOC:  Only dex bonuses.  Hit AC 5 and then roll a d4 to see how many marbles pop out.  Simple game.

Re: Delith: Against the Giants

In reply to Warwick (msg # 891):

"Maybe." says Warwicks Dad, "Often wondered what it would be like to wrastle a Fire giant."

Over at the marbles match, Minty looks at the game and Shorty's shot, makes a strange face and tries herself.  She hits the marbles and the ricochets know 2 marbles out.  Minty picks the two marbles out and her big one. "Knock the marbles out of the circle game?"

Re: Delith: Against the Giants

In reply to Warwick (msg # 893):

"Yer on." says his father.  After dinner Warwick puts his helm and the pushing match begins, this time Warwick his able to push is Dad back; however at one point when Warwick puts a little more effort he finds his Dad do a quick side step and pull causing Warwick to lose he balance forward and fall to the ground.  Just before he face plants his Dad grabs Warwicks belt and holds him up.  "Kinda the way I pictured it." says Warwicks Dad and the snatches Warwick back to his feet and then slaps him on the back "Good lad."  Lady Warwick has her arms folded with a bit of a scowl.  "Oh Shale, just havin a bit of fun with the boy."  She unfolds her ams and goes back to conversing.

Sounds like you are all spending the night, so you do.  It is a nice sleep and you feel well rested.  Breakfast is ready when you wake .. unless it is really early .. eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee tea.

After breakfast you are summoned back to the palace to go over more in depth your experiences .. all except Trinny who goes back to HQ.  You thank the Foregmakers  (you can do that in your own special ways) and head to the palace.

Coming up, back to the palace & exps.

Ez’ard roots around in his bag until he comes upon the giants bracelet. He presents it as a gift the the Lady of the house saying, “A giant was wearing this as a bracelet. On anyone else it is a necklace. Please accept this on behalf of everyone for your wonderful hospitality.”

In reply to Ez'ard (msg # 896):

Lady Forgemaker smiles and says "Very kind but completely unnecessary, least we could do for you .. and .." she looks at the necklace and takes it slowly from Ez'ard then says "Stoney, look here.  What do you make of this?"  he comes over and looks at the necklace "Hmmm, do you think it is .."  "Yes I do she replies.  Lady Obsidian de Flints necklace." the look at each other again and the Lady turns to Ez'ard.  "Thank you, we shall see it will get to the proper place." Then Lord Forgemaker "Well you should not keep the king waiting; otherwise he may think I mean to usurp him."  he chuckles as he says it.

"Warwick me boy, stay hard!" he pumps his fist in the air.

Minty gives Warwick a hug and then a slap as he turns to go.  "See you, slowpoke."

You make your way to the palace.

Shorty nods at Minty’s shot.  “Bery good.”Shorty lines up a shot on two pretty blue stones sitting side by side. He hits but only one makes it out of the circle.  The other lands just inside the ring.  There are 12 left in the circle.
