In reply to Warwick (msg # 225):

I don't think they come in sizes. One size fits all. So it should work for him.

In reply to Morteft (msg # 226):

There seem to be a couple of items we don't know about:

Rectangular prism - magic
from shade: Single Sheet of Parchment
pirates: a small crystal eye

Are those magical?

oh, and the daggers and the sheathes need to be identified

The flayer also had these:

a pouch (Not magic) containing Non magic - did it contain anything we care about?
a sheet of folded parchment

Re: Delith: Treasure Pick

In reply to Morteft (msg # 226):

Cloak of Displacement: This item appears to be a normal cloak, but when it is worn by a character its magical properties distort and warp light waves. This displacement of light waves causes the wearer to appear to be from 1’ to 2’ from his or her actual position. Any attack by missile or melee strike which is aimed at the wearer will automatically miss the first time*. Thereafter the cloak affords +2 protection, i.e. 2 classes better on armor class, as well as +2 on saving throw dice versus attack forms directed at the wearer (such as spells,
gaze weapon attacks, spitting and breath attacks, etc. which are aimed at the wearer of the cloak of displacement). Note that 75% of all cloaks of displacement are sized for humans or elves (persons 5’ to 6’ or so tall), and but 25% are sized for persons of about 4’ height (dwarves, gnomes, halflings). * This can apply to first attacks from multiple opponents only if the second and successive attackers were unable to observe the initial displacement miss.

I was thinking of 2 items since the gems make them return to a particular sheath.

In reply to Morteft (msg # 234):

I thought the rectangular prism was the key to unlock the manacles.

The small crystal eye is the artifact we shut inside the heavily warded box.

The prism is the key, it was listed separately because someone stuck it in there pocket and walked off leaving the manicals on the wall.

Re: Delith: Treasure Pick

In reply to Trysk (msg # 240):

Ez'ard is up and then Tzar.

Sheet is here although it follows what is posted too:
https://docs.google.com/spread...J9c/edit#gid=5065862

And then the order reverses, i.e.

Tzar
Ez'ard
Trysk
Morteft
Warwick

So Tzar should pick twice and then back to Ez'ard.

Re: Delith: Treasure Pick

In reply to Morteft (msg # 241):

Ez’ard having returned from visiting Stronghold and Shorty walks into the area where the others have been going over the adventure’s spoils. He waves hello and as he ponders what he would like, he starts regaling everyone of Shorty’s exploits and the saving of lots of people to start rebuilding the world of Arcturus. It seems Shorty spent ALL is stash to include his “marbles” to buy the slave and set them free. Some wanted to return to their homes but a lot decided to stay and help build stronghold town. And he ends with, “And he saved a young blind girl who can see auras. She thinks he has the brightest and whitest aura she has ever seen.” He chuckles, and says jokingly, “good thing see can’t actually see him.”

Along the tale he selects the Dagger+4 and sheath saying it will be nice not having to constantly go fetch a thrown dagger for once. He thanks whoever cleaned the sheath of its poison.

He sits down and examines the dagger, looking at ways the secure the sheath to a leg.

Re: Delith: Treasure Pick

In reply to Morteft (msg # 231):

Neither sheet of parchment is magical.  No one has tried to read them so they are just there.

To save time....

The parchment from the shade is a contract for the killing of a dark elf currently intruding in the ethereal plain.  The offered reward is that the elf may be fully drained as can his companion, a human.  In addition, Shodow will deliver 20 dark ones to be drained of strength at the Shade's request.

The second is a contract for the death of a dark elf and his lackey human.  Both brains may be devoured and additionally, Shadow will deliver a human mage of level 14 to the flayer to do with as it wishes.
