Seems so, and Blythe's First Aid did stop the rapid loss of HT.

You do, and also get a bunch of assistance when you are seen fromthe door, both human and dwarf come and help. Gorin is placed on a table where he can be worked on and Physicians have been summoned to assist the wounded. A couple of the attackers are on tables too.

Gorin's bags wee recovered and are placed by his table ... you suspect that they have been gone through.

You are all given small beer and food to aid your recovery.. A small group of city guard are there talking with the Dwarves and others. You'll likely be next ...

From what has been said, they think your intervention was a big help, as it stopped the attck and saved the lives of honest merchants.
