Syl looks at the sky, the mountain and replies I am going back down a little to camp, I think you'd be smart to come with me, but do as you will.

In reply to Master of Fates (msg # 925):

Troels will follow him and suggests others do likewise.

Roahfustion nods at Troels and gestures for him to lead on.

The all go back down a good bow's shot to where the tees while not thick, ar at least able to support tent ropes and break the wind.
The Ranger has a fire going very quickly and the camp is set up as the light disappears. The girsl put together a pot of "stew" and then tell Troels to watch it, while they sit a ways away and talk, watching him tend the pot. Blythe and Roahfustion have an arm around each other as they talk and laugh together. It takes a good while for the water to heat up enough to cook the ingredents sufficient to  be both edible and tasty.

In reply to Master of Fates (msg # 928):

Troels will watch the stew as asked, but with his crossbow in arms reach as he monitors the sky. He is ready for whatever watch is needed, volunteering for the midnight watch.

When Troels is ready for his stew Roahfustion will take over watching the sky. Not that she can do much about it, but it may allow him to eat his stew in peace. "Syl really seems to know his stuff. Wish I was better at that. Well, I travel a lot, but really, I'm an urban girl."

At a suitable moment she says simply to Syl, "It's fine if you don't want to talk but I need to just tell you, 'thank you'."
After eating the bard cleans up as best she can and then settle for the night, "Wake me when it's my turn to watch." She yawns and rolls over.

In reply to Roahfustion (msg # 930):

"Happy to. How would you like to be woken?" he asks with a cheeky grin.

Likely so she can immdiately get up and go on watch... she says with a smirk.

"Actually with both of you molesting me," the bard replies deadpan.

In reply to Roahfustion (msg # 933):

"Happy to do the molesting for any who want it. I can get her up, but she may not be very alert..."

I have not molested a soul!

In reply to Blythe of Portage (msg # 935):

"I have never done so without their express permission!"

"Oh for goodness sake. Blythe, it's my body, not my soul. And, yes, you both have permission, provided it is both of you."

So now only if we are working togther on you?  Her smirk grows.

Syl is getting an earful.

"If that's what you want, girl!"  Roahfustionsays in mock anger, her eyes and upturned lips denying any seriousness. "For now, I need to sleep."

I'll take first watch then.

The bard settles down with a smile on her face, happier than she has been in ages. An unuusal family, their trio, but a family nonetheless.

OOC: Roahfustion isn't particularly martial and is happy for others to sort out watch details and so forth. Whoever wakes her up, assuming no fracas and that it's not Syl, gets a smile and a hug. Happy to fast forward (or fade to black if relevant).

Troels settled down beside the bard, working to extend that smile a little before he drifts off, or fades to black, as appropriate...

Seeing that Troels is feeling frisky, but mindful of her promise, Roahfustion hold out a hand to Blythe inviting her to join.

Blythe watches carefully for several hours, before waking Troels.

By morning itis darned cold... Roahfustion has the last guard and notes Syl is up and packing very early. he heats some water for ea and prridge hebrought, then takes his leave as the first rays of the sun creep over the horizen.

Troels will ask Syls which direction to the birds nest before he departs.

After breakfast they pack up and prepare to depart, scanning the sky first.

Roahfustion does as bid. This is well out of her area of expertise.

Syl stops what he is doing and looks at Troels, then points at the top of the mountain.

He is gone before you are packed and ready to move, having moved off to the right (Northwest) and down along the tree line.

You climb past where you turned around last night and struggle up the steep path, surprised that there is even a path here.
The path cust back and forth a couple of time before moving around to the South side where you can't see Quartedec or much of the north at all. Breathing is harder and you have to take more breaks, but shortly after midday you struggle onto the top, which proves to be a large round area with several low constructions like stone walls about an arm span long, on one sits a large lizard looking creature with wings and bright yellow eyes in the head that has turned to look at you. Beside it stands a man, rather norml looking with a staff,
