Troels will look for any giving directions, before targeting their vitals with a bodkin bolt.

Following Troels' lead Roahfustion swirches from sword to shield and loads it with a nice round stone.
She trails behind him and moves forwards pace for pace with Blythe.

Troels bolt hits a shield and end up with just the very back still showing ... the fellow holding it retires more quickly into the retreating mob.

Flanked by the ladies, Troels marches up the hill to the tower. The main gate is still closed, but a mob of men is moving through the postern and into the Bailey.
There is no fire from the tower.  Indeed, even as you move to the end of the line going into the postern, the main gate creaks and opens a few feet, with soldiers wearing the colors that Lady Highrocks wears.   Blythe separates from you and heads toward the main gate, which she enters with out issue, then sticks her head out and waves you toward the gate.  Already the mob in front of you is beginning to turn toward the main gate.

Not knowing quite why what just happened did Roahfustion nonetheless trusts Blythe and follows. She stows her sling and rests a hand casually on her sword hilt.

There is still some fighting going on, mostly in the out buildings (Kitchen, Stable, Blacksmith and dungeons), but the stairs up to the tower seem open and they are bringing the badly burned man who was appointed to hold this tower and gather taxes , down to the Bailey for treatment. Several other seriously burned men are also brought down, while Lady High rocks heads upstairs to see how badly they trashed her home.

Blythe is standing out of the way taking it all in. The horses in the stable are obviously upset with the smell of blood and promise to be a real handful to anyone trying to deal with them.
Shall we get the stables calmed, Troels?

"Sure."

He has the expression that he would prefer to calm those that still fought... permanently, but he heads over to the stables to calm the beasts.

Maybe because he was nearly as big as them, he does a reasonable job of it...

But you are faced with a fight ... the horses are all agitated in their stalls, and 3 men in Highrocks colors are fighting four men between you and the Highrocks men,  in some colors you've seen in Mershall's hodgepodge of soldiers, the fifth man is facing your way and immeditately moves to attack you.

Troels surprise at the fellows attack has him back peddling, Blythe is also surprised but already on edge, so reacts by shoving her light shield into the attackers face and grabbing his right arm at the wrist. He is stronger, but she has him unable to see and struggling to get his weapon arm free. Her kick to his family jewels is off slightly but adds another distraction tothe fighter who is now trying to back away., which he just barely manages to do.... Blythe steps back and draws her sword.

The Soldier moves to avoid the pick, but only manages enough to cause the pick to be deflected off his helmet and into his left shoulder pad (armored epaulette)  where it pierces down into his shoulder, making his shield drop onto it's strap.. The pick is buried in his shoulder pad and chest, so does not come free.  The man tries to yell something but it is unclear as blood comes from his mouth with the yell.

Blythe is ready to stab,  but holds as he staggers back pulling on the pick handle.

Well his armor would make it impossible to do anything but lift it back out, but it is sufficient and the man staggers backwards, while one of the other four now backs out and turns toward you and Blythe.   Blythe looks to be the easy kill, so he pushes the wounded man back toward you and swings at Blythe, who neatly dodges and swings her blade across the back of his sword arm, it's a bad blow which only scratches his armor, but also disrupts his backswing.
Blythe steps back and brings her shield up and readies another blow, studying this guy.... He also steps back, surprised a bit by her deft response.

Simple enough, 1D6 pi is the damage; it hit him in the face, causing him to stumble and fall, thus avoiding Troel's blow.

He is obviously dazed and Blythe can move forward and put her sword to his throat Surrender and drop your weapons and shield or die.

The fellow, obviously not all together does as demanded.

With three fighters to their front and Troels and Blythe moving up behind them, the "bad guys" ask for terms to surrender. [4 is a very bad reaction, in this case to fighting on]

The men to their front demand they drop their weapons and shields, then march slowly out into the court yard, and ask the Troels and Blythe guard the front so they can run and no one will attack them.

Well actually the others will be pushed up to the fellow you have on his knees. Then all of them go out front as prisoners.
The Various local militia's are delighted to see them brought out and the three soldiers they had been fighting thank you for you timely help as they can.
You are quickly relieved of guarding them and can look around.

Well out the back side of the Stable is a path to the tower and a small door while just inside the stable is a stair case headed down.

Nothing much here you wouldn't expect in a stable.
