LoC:
Alex (NPCed) stares at Luke, no less confused by his use of Charlotte's name than before.
"Look, I don't know Charlotte, and I don't know you, but I think you just saved my life so...thanks," he says, managing a quick smile. "Now let's get out of here?"
Luke was running out of time. This panel and door weren't doing what he wanted, and he didn't have time to discuss the matter with them in the way he wished ... besides, he didn't have a sledgehammer with him, regardless.
"
Well, Alex m'lad, she knows who you are" he said as he looked up and down the hallway.
LoC:
The panel lights up dark purple, as Luke places a hand upon it, then turns black. Seconds later, it displays a response across the smooth surface in symbols that are completely nonsense to Luke. The door way beside it, however does not open.
The Possessed guards round the corner; the alarm screaming a warning in some strange language the meaning of which is easily guessed...
As the klaxons began, he took in the four possessed that came around the corner, and their strange cargo.
In the other direction, some chick had just appeared in the hallway, much as Luke and Alex had only a minute ago.
Flight or fight?
The girl didn't have that far away, possessed look: maybe she was or wasn't one of the badguys.
But the captive was struggling, and he looked solid.
Luke's body decided, again without consulting his brain, that if he could help the big guy, that'd make three against the badguys ... Maybe four if the chick was on Luke's end of whatever stick this was.
Luke charged, barreling into the four possessed that we're trying to hold the big guy.
If all went well, maybe they'd all go down like bowling pins.
