I understand that at character creation you get 1 point in all 4 virtues, and then you must spend an additional 5 points.  This means you will have at least one virtue with a score higher than 2.  (A lower score means a lower chance of having to spend limited willpower points to RP your character how you see fit.  willpower also fuels your super powers.)

In other words, mandatory "RP GOLD" mechanic.  Not optional.  When I asked, I was told there is no way in the game system to bypass or limit the Limit Break bar.  Your only option for diminishing the effects of this mechanic is to create a cleverly worded custom Virtue Flaw that allows flexibility for how you RP your character's regularly scheduled psychotic meltdown.

As I think about it, I suppose there's one way to "avoid" the mechanic.  And that's to give in to the Virtue's dictates every single time no matter how disruptive it is to the story.  You only fill your limit bar if you RP your character choosing a greater good over an immediate impulse.  In other words, the "rp gold" mechanic encourages you to NOT RP your character, instead simply following a pre-set programming, in order to avoid having to RP your character going nuts.

From what I am reading so far, it actually looks like stuff I have RP'd before without game mechanics forcing it. Heck, Timothius in SoW easily has the "Penitent Heart" flaw. And Lendin had the "Paralyzing Lethargy" flaw. "Benevolent Tyranny" fits for Raichel. These flaws are not hindering per say, just gotta figure out what flaw your character would normally exhibit.

Still, I'm more expecting that nobody will reply to the email and the game will never get started anyway.
