OOC

When you have time, please post up the latest RP into a thread, Tim.  Could call the thread, "Escaped Prisoners!" or some such.

Post 500! Wheee
Also, put a Notice status on the OOC so it doesn't end up buried forever in the 11 million new threads a month.

Re: OOC

City of heroes super yay patch note.

Base Editor: Free Vertical Placement and Rotation

Added the ability for players to move base objects horizontally and rotate them about the vertical axis freely.
While placing an object, if the player holds SHIFT, they can move the object vertically.
Once placed vertically, if they wish to move the object again and maintain the vertical placement, they can hold the CTRL key.
If they do not use the CTRL key, the object will snap to the first encountered ground the cursor is placed over.
If the player holds ALT, they can rotate the object about the vertical axis.

KNOWN ISSUE: Rotating a base object about the vertical axis during initial placement will snap the object into a corner of the base with part of the object inside the wall.

This should only affect the initial placement of a new base object.

Re: OOC

Wanting to do something sci-fi at the moment. Like maybe continue the thread "The End of an Empire" or something. But I don't feel like being GM right now. I just wanna play. Someone else willing to start up a sci-fi thing or continue "The End of an Empire" for me?

Re: OOC

Chris asked me to pick a picture from various sci-fi pics I scoured the net for, then pick a character. From there, he said he'd see what he can do.

I'm looking for something very high-tech, like these pics:

As for who? Emerald!

Re: OOC

Posted here, as I just now realized a PM thread to Tim alone isn't relevant, cause after the fact, I noticed Chris was involved via OOC thread comments.

SO! Was browsing games to see if anythihg caught my interest (Morbid curiosity
(XXmanual linebreak because of giant images* as well, but no more X-Men forever).  Hmm, DBZ - South Galaxy.  XX
Well, there's a system but will go in not expecting any form of balance regardless.  The GM says he'd help you through it. *clicks OOC thread* ., Do they mean that, or...

Is that Emerald?... It is...  Okay, accidental net stalking, should I even try for this the-*sees Emerald mentioning Tread as a possibility* Well that answers that!  XX
Now to PM for input on attempting an app tomorrow after I slee-...

*see's 'Hi I'm Emeralds RL brother' introductory post in the OOC*.

  ...

  This isn't on purpose I swear. o.o

EDIT: *clicks Dez Fafara cast listing...  Gannon is a Heavy Metal singer*...

<conspiracy theory>I see what's going on now, you are clearly hiding the BEST GAME EVER from me.</conspiracy theory>

Now to actually go to sleep before I try to type up some kind of app without said sleep.

Re: OOC

Yeah, of course if it's as slow as you say it is, I guess I'll hold off on it since I'd rather not have another 'Game that does nothing but I'd rather not delete' taunting me on my sticky list.

I mean, even that 'Fantasy Roleplay' is still up there <.<  >.>

Re: OOC

Jotting down idea b4 crashing.  Thunderspire.  Been (insert long time) since last post.  Perhaps create alternate universe thread (perhaps here, but still statted?) where warforged cavalier didn't show up and continue on with both threads in hopes of preventing dido, callie, terdisas, etc from collecting cobwebs while still leaving option for seth to join in as RL allows.

Multiple choice feedback:
a) good idea
b) meh.
c) bad idea.

my current response (subject to change depending on mood) is:  worth the effort only if both tim and joe gun-ho about the idea.

Re: OOC

Oh good, now that April Fools Day is over I can actually bear to look at the sight again.

I certainly wouldn't mind getting back to using a Caster I enjoy, (Though I may someday branch out/streamline his Encounter power selection.)
*deliberate line drop* Here but still stats would help prevent confusion on our own end as well for 'wait which thread was is?'.

If Tim's up for it then I definitely am, if not I can manage without.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *takes breath* .....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY (etc)

.....sure. Let's go for it.

(Disclaimer: The author meant to have more A's in the yay, but RPOL likes to throw this annoying line: "Error! You don't need over eighty consecutive alphanumeric characters, do you?")

An idea that might salvage ME3's ending

I really enjoyed both videos.  Enjoyed the game, (and supposedly there's a way to scrape together enough war assets in single player to get "best" ending), but the ending...  yeah.

Re: OOC

Due to SFH going the way of the dodo, I'm planning on starting up anew in a Sonic setting. Maybe SFH, maybe a slightly different setting (like pre or post Robotnik, maybe even a non-SatAM setting). There's lots of ways we could go about this, so I will be jotting ideas at work starting Monday. However, please feel free to post ideas as you have them here.

Meanwhile, I plan to carefully gauge who all on RPOL i can invite. People who post regularly, I'll be sending invites to, asking their level of interest in a Sonic setting.

Anyway, just a heads up.

Also, I had a thought for Heart of the Universe. It seems the experiment of "as powerful as we want" while it was successful for a time, didn't go as well as I hoped. So I'm thinking about approaching it from a different angle. Something more "paragon tier" or "mid-heroic tier" by D&D standards. Anyway... gotta go get ready for Byron game.

Re: OOC

I'm kind of burnt out on Sonic in general.  Might try, might not if a new Sonic deal is made.

Heart of the Universe, my ramblings about it aside had some promise.  I just had some terrible luck with it is all.  Your stated intentions sound like they could work out (more so if you specified 4th Ed, less World Altering Rituals Made Easy at that tier in 4th Ed)

Completely unrelated, I finally broke down and edited the post with the giant tables breaking image so that picture is just a text link.  Ghost Emmy remains readily visible, of course.
