Ameiko looks a little ruffled by Mishann suggesting she can't handle the gruesome sight, but she sighs and simply nods, giving in to the hero's suggestion. Pyrus tries to give her comforting pets, and the lady seems ambivalent about that as well.
"For what it's worth, we're hoping that when we slay the devil Nualia, it will break whatever enchantment she has on your brother," Nathan offers,
"If all goes well, he may be shown some leniency if we can prove he was under mind control."
Ameiko blinks in surprise and looks a little relieved. "Devil? Mind control? Well that would certainly explain a lot. A whole lot."
"Any idea where the tunnel in that room leads to?" Mits asks, pointing at a door to a room the group checked as the group exits.
"Nope."

A23. Smuggler’s Entrance: The long tunnel leading north from
this room winds through the bedrock below Sandpoint.
Built decades ago by smugglers, the tunnel remains stable
and serviceable as it winds on a lazy northeasterly route
for just over 1,750 feet before reaching a dead end. A DC
20 Search check reveals a secret door that opens into a
30-foot-diameter cave on the side of the cliff overlooking
the Varisian Bay. The cave mouth slopes down to a narrow
beach; no Survival check is required to note the crude
collection of goblin beds or remnants of their meals
strewn about the cave.
Before long, the group arrives at A16, the room where they entered the building.
