Timothius:
Races:
LA+0. So if you could play the race at level 1 in a given D&D game, you can choose it. Beyond that, I don't care.
OOC: Asked Tim what inspired this thread. He said this is attempt number 5 at running a "Generic D&D setting." I feel the need to mention that in said generic D&D setting, Tim probably has certain expectations. Expectations such as, "If a Tiefling PC enters a town of 10,000, they'll immediately assume he was the one who kidnapped the cows & nobleman. And probably organized the bandits too. Time to form a lynch mob."
The players expectations might be quite different when it comes to what counts for "generic D&D setting." Player: "Really? I thought showing up to town looking like Robo Satan while carrying a skull themed cannon on my shoulder wouldn't raise any eyebrows. Didn't in the last game he was in. Why are the streets deserted all of a sudden?"
I request that we nail down expectations up front rather than kill Tim's latest attempt before it has a chance to get off the ground.
Speaking of expectations, why didn't I expect to find this when searching for "Cyber Satan?"
