Well there's always that - No thanks, I just remembered I can do it myself.
"Any luck?"
Jack chuckles at Ben's point.
"Right?"
And yes, he believes the big blue baby to be far more clever than one might expect. As for just how subtle he'll be in mocking morons for being less clever than a baby, that remains to be seen.
"That's a good question, Igatho. But accidentally hurting a friend happens much more often than you might expect. I'll show you how it could happen so that you'll know a way to avoid it."
He plays a somber tune on his hurdy gurdy (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t8TFGTAAoU ) and uses prestidigitation to animate cartoon characters* on the table that act out his story:
"Once upon a time there was a hungry child who wanted to eat right away. Her bunny friend did his best to hurry up with breakfast. But the hungry one was upset that breakfast wasn't ready yet. So she picked up a chair and smashed it. Pieces of chair went flying everywhere! One piece even went spinning right at bunny's face! He was super fast and ducked down before it hit his face. But the piece of chair scratched his ear anyway.
'Ow!' he cried out from the pain, 'That hurt!'
But that wasn't the worst part. His precious ring had fallen off his neck and dropped through the cracks in the floor.
He was angry and shouted, 'Now look what you've done!'
The hungry one was scared. She didn't want her friend to think that she wanted to hurt him or make his ring go away.
'No!' she cried, 'Not my fault! You didn't feed me! I wouldn't need to smash if I was fed!'
But her words made her bunny friend sad. 'You think I'm a bad friend?'
Frustrated and sad, she cried really loud, 'Noooo!'"
The music then turns cheerful.
"Bunny used magic to get his ring back. He even gave food to the hungry child even though she'd been naughty. She said she was sorry for hurting him. He hugged her and forgave her.
'I know you didn't want to hurt me,' he said, 'But so this doesn't happen again, be good and wait patiently for breakfast.'
'Okay! I won't smash chairs when I'm hungry. I love you!'"
*( I imagined Jack's story time cartoons to be like animated paper dolls. Kinda like this:
