Bridget comes into the guild and looks around, looking to see if anyone is there and who. Her expression is calm (the heroes don't yet know it's almost ALWAYS calm anyway), so her business must not be urgent. She heads for the board, posting up a paper on it.

Lucky is looking rather sleepy...  Considering he's asleep on the easy chair near the fireplace.  So he doesn't notice Bridget come in.

  Terdisas looks over from his own chair (consciousness has it's benefits), and rises to greet the low animation budget faced woman.  "Hello Bridget, while it is safe to assume your general reason for coming today, I suspect you would be able to give a better explanation personally than any notice.  Unless you happen to be pressed for time."

Bridget turns to face Terdisas. "I am not pressed for time. The notice is to inform people of a task the governer is hiring adventurers for: Escort duty for an ambassador of the church. The payment varies based on performance, but is no lower than 200 gold per person. What else do you wish to know?"

The conversation wakes Lucky and he kitty yawn-stretches.  "Oh hi there, officer," he says with a sleepy smile, "Good to see you again."

He waves hi at Terdisas as well.

  "Perhaps the reason why such an important and lucrative task has not been taken up already, and which church."  The latter most likely is written on the notice, but the former probably not so much.

  Escort, Great pay even if you suck, Divinely sanctions.  We just can't find anyone willing to do it... Why? Uh, no reason.  Say, you wouldn't happen to have experience fending off Zombie Pirate Ninja Robots would you?... Oh, no reason, still.

  He nods in the 'oh, Hi person I already said hi to but is waking up and I want to be polite' manner to Lucky.

Bridget nods to Lucky in greeting. "Likewise." Then looks back at Terdisas. "It has not been taken up yet because it has only been one minute since I came in and posted the notice. The church is of Pelor."
