May is waking to another wonderful day. Under the same roof as Terdisas. Thankfully, Bethany went to stay with Emerald, so it's not quite as crowded for Ter. May perks up and rushes to the kitchen to get to cooking something good for her host. Bacon and eggs! Simple enough. And adding pepper to the eggs is a nice add to the taste that any 4-year-old could pick up on. Once it's ready, May goes to track down Terdisas so she can maybe serve him breakfast in bed.

  Terdisas only has the once guest room after all.  But considering May's frequent habit of curling up with others, Bethany might have had some room... If she didn't mind sleeping in a room full of an armory's worth of violent objects considering what May might have picked up by now.

  Superbird is awake (do they even sleep?), while Terdisas is in that state of 'sorta trying for consciousness, but the brain can't get the enthusiasm for it yet'.  So May's goal is a sucess.

May doesn't sneak. If she did, she might be successful and startled the not-currently-alert Terdisas. And Superbird would likely keep quiet and point and laugh at Terdisas. So yeah. May makes it obvious she is coming to Terdisas with a plate of food and says, "Good morning, Terdisas! I got you some food. Though it'll be easier to eat if you sit up."

She hands the plate to Ter and quickly gets to shoving extra pillows under him to help with the sitting up bit. Fun fact: May gets +2 proficiency bonus and 1d8 damage with pillows. 1d10 damage if two-handed sized.

  Free food from cute girls, one of the best wakeup calls ever.  He plate gets, and after avoiding a yawn says "Good morning May, thank you for this delightful surprise.  I do hope you prepared something for yourself too though."

May says, "Oh sure! I made enough for both of us. Even accounting for my big appetite. Though I guess that means I eat as much as you big folk, eh?" Mechanics breaking as using a pillow would be, using a plate as a discus, however, sounds fun. Tron folk played Frisbee to kill each other, so why not? "I'll run and get my plate! Be right back!" she runs off. Thumpthumpthump...

...thumpthumpThump! She's back with a plate in hand. May flops into the bed next to Terdisas. "It's been so much fun being here in your place! And I can never thank you enough. Really, the big thing anymore isn't the money so much as the company."

  Terdisas smiles, and ensures that May has enough room (hey, just cause she's small doesn't mean you shouldn't give a girl a proper seat).  "Your company is payment enough, though admittedly that is made easier by virtue of my owning this home."  Though Terdisas never minds help with the grocery bills.  "I am glad to hear I am a good standard for companionship."

May says, "And championship! For this is the breakfast of champions!" she holds up a fork-full of eggs victoriously. She giggles and says, "OK, maybe I went overboard there. So aside from food, what's on today's menu?"

  Terdisas considers May's question, as he eats some of the food of delicious (no talking with mouth full, his CHA stat would cringe).  "There were no particular plans as of yet.  Of course, as you have so kindly given me a pleasant morning, I suppose the least I can do is return the favor today.  We shall go out and do something you would enjoy, once you decide what you would enjoy most, of course."

May says, "OUTside of combat, of course... let's see. There's always weapons shopping. Shopping in general. Listening to another Emerald concert." she leans up against Terdisas for body heat. "Finding out if anyone needs our help. Putting good on my reputation here in Grayhawk. Thankfully, a lot of that stuff can be done at once. I'd like to do the shopping bit first, though."

  Terdisas, considering their most frequent form of employment involves combat wouldn't deny May's request go go out for some.  It'd be kind of silly and self defeating.  He goes to armaround the most adorable kobold ever (don't exactly need more than one hand to handle eggs), and says "Of course we can, it would be rather mean spirited of me to offer and then turn down such a reasonable request."

May appreciates the extra coverage of body warmth. "In the meantime, though, what's on your mind? I heard you and some others went and rescued some lady yesterday."

  "This is true, a rather pleasant and innocent seeming woman named Bethany.  She was kidnapped by Gnolls for reasons unknown, and the very ground itself swallowed up the ones who fled.  Emerald has taken her in for the moment."  Terdisas still isn't sure what to make of the 'walking magical signature' situation, and his insight is one wisdom +1 mod above generic.  But he still suspects it is an innocence born of naivety than nature... At least somewhat, it may be Bethany really is such a person in general.

May says, "Sounds nice! I'd like to meet her. Maybe we'll make that part of our to-do list for after shopping? Or maybe even invite her along to shop with? Got a preference?"

  Teridsas gives it a moments thought, then says "She was put through a lot yesterday.  And while I somehow doubt she will top her current outfit, a pleasant outing should do her some good.  A lovely suggestion May."

May notices the empty plates. Then looks back up at Ter. "Great! Lead the way then." she hops out of the bed and goes to get changed into something more public. May has a form of durable cloth she wears as PJs. More for decency reasons than comfort, since she has learned most other races prefer not to be naked when in front of others. But there is another layer to be had there... if May walked around naked, she would likely be thought less as a person. It's a respect thing.

Soon, the pair are out and about, ready to find Bethany. Beth is predictably at Emmy's house and Emerald says, "I appologise, but I'm going to be busy today. But Bethany is free, far as I know."

She looks over and before she can get a response, finds Beth zooming to the door with a bright smile. "Time with friends? Of course I'd like to come with!"
