As he slowly comes to, Maverick looks around and finds he isn't in his bed or at home. He's on some grass field near a quarry. He feels very different. When he looks at himself, he discovers he's a rattata. "......" well at least he keeps his usual dark blue text?

  Okay, quick review... Oh crap, he doesn't have any pockets...  Oh crap, he doesn't hand hands to properly facepalm with.  This is going to suck isn't it. Suck More than merely dealing with annoying people.

 This combined with the fact he can now set things on fire (and officially use headbutts as a special attack) is probably not a good combination.

Maverick finally gets a decent view of the area and spots the nearby growlithe. Hmm... cat and mouse is famous. Dog and mouse not so much. He can only hope the growlithe understands him. "Hey there! Where am I?"

"This. Is. AWESOME!" Mittens exclaimes when she's discovered she's been turned into a pokemon and stranded far from home who-knows-where.

"Fire the main cannon!"

FWOOSH!

Yup.  Fireball is a go!

"Whee!  Hey you two.  Where's the nearest pokecenter?"
