A deer named Autumn is on the ground level of Channelwood, raking up leaves. The season she is named after has come and so it is time to prepare for winter. Some years, preparations are not quite enough, but most years they are sufficient.

She looks around, bites her lower lip, and leaps into the pile of leaves she just recently made.

Rick is a friendly Raccoon who likes chatting with friends.  Today he happens to be carrying a rake and approaches Autumn.

"Hey that looks fun," he says with a smile, "How's it been, Autumn?  I heard the fall festival folks are looking forward to your colorful input, heh."
