I'm not sure what I'd like to do with the MLP RP, but I'm guessing both Tim and Koo would like it to be more than just a one-time RP then set aside never to be picked up again.  I'm willing to run the RP, but I'd need to know what we want to do with the RP first.  (It worked real well from Tim's DnD Expanse campaign that we brainstormed for several hours before starting the story.)

So do we want to play as the Featured Characters?  Do we want to play as Original Characters?  Do we want it to take place in Ponyville, all of Equestria, or beyond?  What kind of feel do we want?  Tim and I obviously eyeroll at grimdark, but do we want to have occasional "dark" things as part of the plot?  I tend to prefer action adventure plots, but don't have to have that if the other players don't want 'em.

If we reeeally like MLP like we do DnD, we could make this thread the first of many like we do for the Heroes' Guild RP.

Personally, there's a number of characters I'd like to play, including one of the cannon characters (Pinkie Pie), and I'd prefer the actual cartoon's setting of a G-rated Ponyville/Equestria.

I'd like to avoid grimdark as much as the cartoon does. So if anyone has a character from outside Equestria (such as a human), the character should still be from an equally G-rated world. I mentioned to Chris Pokemon as an example of a place where G-rated humans can come from. :)

Alternatively, while I'd still like G-rating for the setting regardless, I also wouldn't mind Ponies in space as a sci-fi setting where the ponies are just one of the alien races. Although if we did DnD with ponies, we'd have to discuss the violence meter.

I would like an ongoing rp as opposed to a temporary one.

Well now that Liz(Haalima's player) has shown interest, I'm half tempted to make a separate board for the pony RP.  Maybe even allow strangers to join.
