we left off with Merv and his fam fleeing the whomobile of their lol violence dominated society tribe.  They randomly travel AWAY from the haunted woods to the North, aiming for the Easting River to have a reliable water source.  After a day of travel, their mom sets up camp.

"It's dangerous out in the wild away from the tribe," she says, "We'll have to sleep in shifts."
