Tomorrow - The Great, The Late

The sun is going down on another ordinary day. Thankfully, it's a weekend, so at least most people don't have to go back to work. In fact, one of Joe's co-workers offered to take him to a bar.

Ryan says, "We can go normal bar, or, since your birthday's around the corner and I won't make it, we can go with strip bar."

(Just an RP between Joe and I to have fun while Chris at work, so please pay this thread no mind.)

Re: Tomorrow - The Great, The Late

Joe gives this great decision consideration.  "On the one hand, better show.  On the other hand, normal bar costs less.  This leaves the deciding factor."

He turns to Ryan and asks "Which one is closer?" Are these good standards or terrible standards?

Re: Tomorrow - The Great, The Late

Ryan smirks. "The brand new strip bar around the corner; The Lusty Lady." he heads there with Joe. As expected, there is a bouncer and such, but Ryan and Joe have "Yes, I'm old enough" identification on them, so on they go. And also as expected, distant music becomes not-so-distant. There are everyday people like Ryan and Joe. And there are some shady sleazes. And then there is the downright scary dude sitting on his own, looking at the women AND the viewers like they are all next on his hit list.

Ryan finds a decent seat at the bar, starting out with some standard drinks for himself and Joe. "Drink all you want, bud. I'll be the designated driver today."

Re: Tomorrow - The Great, The Late

"Around the corner? No wonder I missed the big neon sign then."  What is the difference between the average customer and a sleazy one?  Probably that the former isn't hoping to break the 'look but don't touch' rules.

Joe adds, once inside "Tempting, but I've always been a fan of walking out of bars instead of bring thrown or carried.  Besides, how will I see the show if I'm facedown on a table?"

He hopes Super Intense Man is just a really obvious club security guy.
