Dragonball Minus Goku

http://images3.wikia.nocookie....eirdguy0-d4qonuq.jpg

Central City (中の都) is the main capital city of Earth and is where the king of the world, King Furry, resides.  Central City is, most possibly, the largest populated city on Earth and is also the location of the King's strongest military organization, the King's Guard.  Today is a flurry of activity because of the Science Fair that features the latest trends in science and technology is about to open.  People from around the world have gathered to see what new wonders will be unveiled, and what forecasts will be made of the future.

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

Emerald is visiting as per the big event. She's taking a break from her archaeology trips to take a peek at the hubbub in Central City. She was sure to pick up a map of the rather large city so she can find her way around.

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

Clarence looked like he got lost from the extras department of Fist Of The North Star, a tall muscle man with a bright red mohwawk.  Clarence has had some bad luck with jobs in the past, it's always the same job.

Be that tall thug for some gang leader.  Stand around being ominous and roughing up a few people for a couple months.  Then everybody gets punched through a wall by some wandering hero, and the process repeats somewhere else with a new gang.

Not today though, today Clarence is between jobs and trying to enjoy himself in a less brooding or punched through wall by sleeping platypus fist (god that was as stupidly named as it was painful) or whatever manner.

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

As luck would have it, Mittens is an archeologist too!  Of course, she's as fringe as it gets in the science world.  Claims of finding evidence of alien influence in ancient cultures and the like doesn't help your credibility.  And then there's the fact that she's more into it for the adventure than the science.  So it all works out.  But hey!  Science Fair!  Sounds like fun!  Especially if you can sneak in without having to wait in line to pay for tickets!

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

Emmy is browsing some of the booths. One guy is trying to sell his snake-oil formula that supposedly gets rid of ring worm. Another guy is trying to convince people he has made a new alloy that is both resistant to atmospheric re-entry AND durable as steel. Emerald honestly thought she'd see more robots or gadgets, but realizes, ALL if this is technically technological advancement.

Clarence may be less academically trained (well, maybe more than Mittens?), but even he can tell certain facts.  "I know you're claiming this hair gel is strong enough to stand up to getting punched in the head, but this looks more like you just put blue dye in industrial glue."

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

A robot vendor with many arms wheels by.  One arm is holding lots of balloons, another is carrying a bag full of astronaut plushies, another is working the cotton candy machine...

"OOH!  Cotton candy!" Mittens cheers.

"Insert coin," the robot answers.

"Kay!"

Mits gets a nice big ball of fluffy cotton candy.

The vendor answers Clarence, "I can't give away my trade secrets or my competition will steal my formula and make a fortune!"

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

Emerald SO buys an astronaut plushy. Then with a smile, while squeezing the plushy to herself and leaning her cheek into it, turns her attention to the taller Mittens. She waves and then overheard the vendor on trade secrets. Clarence, sadly, looks like the bad guy in this situation since he looks totally punk-like. So Emerald is forced to believe Clarence is trying to pick on the vendor.

HOWEVER! Emmy just watches to see how the built mohawk man acts.

"Wait, you mean you didn't know about the guy on the other side of the fair selling the same thing with a slightly different color?  I think it was near the two guys arguing who had the better towels for sale"  Of course, that guy wasn't advertising it as hair gel, but instead industrial putty.

Muscles Mowhawk sees vendotron rolling by, cotton candy get!  What's an attention span?

"Mittens wonders aloud if the color of the cotton candy chosen by the big man has any relation to the color of his mohawk," Mittens wonders aloud.

"Nom!" she takes a bite out of her own treat.

Re: Dragonball Minus Goku

Emerald is honestly not sure what to say. So she presses the plushy astronaut's belly. The Astronaut says, "That's one small step for a man... one giant leap for mankind."

Emerald smiles.

"It would have tasted just as good if it was the blue kind.  While we're bringing up hair in relation to cotton candy, how do you keep it from getting stuck all over your fuzzy face?"  Cartoon physics, duh.
