Re: Valdez SoW: Throne of the Stone-Skinned King

Tim good: meeting the king.  Poison!  How insidious!  Wonderful the game continues to take me off guard.  You'd think after the billionth shape shifter...  The poison: why didn't I think of that?  Enemy territory.  Tolerate us at best.  Poison almost cliché.  Happy I got to use t'shock fig.  Game ran smoothly, no bad.  We have asuna, “no you guys are not going to become slavers” to allies, then turns around saying the prisoners would be turned over to Cachlain as gladiators.  Ugly to Wren. Didn't want to eat or drink.  It made me so happy when wren teleported T'shock to block the dude's path.
cisco good: a lot of the situations involving bram, we were laying on thick.  We know, but we're going to make you feel guilty.  Was forcing the issue without letting on we knew.  Then tim adds “at least you didn't betray us.”  yes I was expecting the poison, not meta.  Bad? what happened to the eladrin escort?  I don't think there was a bad.  With the exception of introducing the plot, it's not really broken on the rails.  Wanted to give Ugly to t'shock, but going with reverie for kind of substantiating Wren's claim he would skin the rokshasa.
darcy: good: everything.  Great the poison.  That was fun.  I like to get to use my skills.  Don't have bads.  Ugly to T'shock for mocking the githyanki.

Re: Valdez SoW: Throne of the Stone-Skinned King

After persuading the Stone Skinned King that it would be best if the heroes take the prisoners to the guest quarters for more questioning, they hear some scratching sound coming from around the corner.  Wren goes to investigate and sees a land shark burst out of the ground!  Several drow, a drider, and a pair of inferno bats emerge!  The two bats attack Wren who evades one, but the other lights him on fire!

Re: Valdez SoW: Throne of the Stone-Skinned King

Jake side steps then shoots a huge ball of lightning at the minions and the inferno bat in the back, knocking out four of the drow underlings!  He follows up with a whispered spell that sends the last minion reeling to the ground and forces the two bats down as well!

"They're immobilized," Jake explains, "Unless they have ranged attacks, that back one can't hurt us for a few seconds."

The inferno bat that has T'shock flanked attacks and lights her on fire!  The other one pinned by Jake's spell struggles, but is unable to move!

Re: Valdez SoW: Throne of the Stone-Skinned King

T'shock is hit by a web, but doesn't care. She yells out and all the enemies are forced to go to her. She then slashes out at all of them, turns to the side and spews fire from her mouth, scorching the bats and the spider!

The bulette then burrows, pops out of the ground, and throws rocks at the enemies!

Reverie grasps her chest as the whole place fills with the sound of a beating heart. Everyone feels it, much like a super woofer, but the enemy feels it more. Reverie grins, blood trickling down the corner of her mouth as she then shoots a magic missile at the fanglord, finishing it off.

T'shock used Come and Get it for 14 dmg on all but bulette, then used dragon's breath for 16 dmg on the bats and 42 dmg on the fanglord.

Dominated Bulette burrows, pops out of ground and does 11 dmg to all the enemies.

Reverie used Cursegrind for 22 dmg on all but the bulette plus 6 curse dmg on the fanglord. ACTION POINT! Reverie does another 6 dmg to all the enemies (which finishes a bat)), then finishes the fanglord off with magic missile.
