Another big monster breaks free!  It tramples Rai, Kyle, and Timothius!  A smaller wind elemental breaks free from a pillar and attacks May, but misses.

  Kyle considers getting up, but then he can still let all his weapons do all the work for him from the floor anyways.

  The long unused tension wheel in the flying crossbow flashes as it expends it's arcane charge, firing three crossbow bolts so quickly they are touching eachother.

  Urion gets shot in his other leg so hard he front flips twice before crashing face first into the ice, which mocks his Cold resistance with blunt trauma.

  The artificer sees the Umber hulks coming, and summons the spring unibrowed eye of disapproval to overlook the battle.

  "Right, Umber hulks. Tough as they look and also dizzying psychic gaze JUST BECAUSE."

"Thanks, Kyle," Mits says.

She steps down and pulls a Vegeta vs Buu style point-blank nuke!  Two elementals are destroyed, one of which explodes in fire!

Sure enough, the umber hulks appear and daze both Mittens and May!

May looks to be dazed, but ignores the fact she is dazed, steps forward, smacks the Destroyer on her way to the umber hulk, and then whacks the umber hulk! "HA! I LAUGH at yOur dizZyiNg waYs!"

Even as Tim was healing Mittens, Raichel DARTS to suddenly be in front of Mittens in a shielding fashion, stomps and lightning dances all over her before a bolt shoots from her to the hulk. But this hulk took lessons from a walrus apparently and dodges the lightning bolt.

Zap!  She backs up, shoots at three, but only hits one.  Then the umber hulks do their mind woogie, drawing the kitties closer!  One then chomps May!

"No... problem..." Timothius says before shaking off the daze effect.

Timothius pulls out a radiant coin purse and opens it. Blood can be seen flying from the umber hulks towards the coin purse! Timothius then bursts with radiance, causing two of the hulks to feel especially vulnerable. He then holds up a holy symbol, devastating the hulks with radiance while the culmination of Kyle's disappointment in all enemies' unprofessionalism is given via the eye in the sky.

He then steps back deftly.

Raichel turns into a lightning bolt and ZAPS right through the enemy, winding up on the other side of the room, hiding behind them. The zap hurts them BAD and the flying eye glares at ALL of them in lazy disappointment. Was that a sigh and a tisk? Anyone's guess. "Now we just stomp them fast."

Mits tosses a zappy coin purse full of burning honey at the enemy, splashing them!

"Sweet!"

An umber hulk turns on Rai, slashing her!  Several mind-woogie, but only May is affected.  Another closes in on Timo, grabbing him in its crushing mandibles!  One slashes May and another circles around to grab her!

May swings and hits only exoskeleton. "Pay atTentIon hEre, you bAd beEtles!"

Timothius is still collecting their blood. "We can get away with this because of the nice ritual given to us by Bejam. We'll be sure to thank him when we return."

Raichel then shoots a lightning bolt 5' in diameter at the hulk to the south, making the thing go into some nasty convulsions. Those muscles are going to ache for the next week or two.

  Kyle's floating Crossbow drops the two Umberhulks still within the effective range of the eye, while the remaining one's head drops off it's shoulders as the acid leaves nothing but it's exoskeleton behind.

  "Wait at least ten minute before wearing their skull as a helmet, May." Somewhere, Maverick probably wishes he was in this party thanks to that comment.

"Crossbows are so cool!"

She pulls out a magical crossbow and finishes off the last enemy!

"Whew!  That was wild!"

She gets to helping with tying up enemies.

May pffs. "Big as those things are, I would be wearing its head as torso armor instead. But it's the wrong shape. Thanks for the thought. Still, I'll be happy to take some kind of trophies if this place doesn't collapse from defeating Chillreaver." She goes to tie up Uarion, then flops to her butt and leans against a pillar.

Timothius sits and heals up. The others are not hurt enough for him to bother healing. He opens the money bag as the blood stops flowing and pulls out what looks like coins made of solidified blood and drops them back in, making a jingling sound. The coin purse vanishes. "Hopefully, we will find and defeat Chillreaver soon. But we will definitely need to rest before we face him at this rate. We all kinda pulled a lot of our more powerful stuff out already."

Raichel nods and rests.
