Infernal Charms
Perverse Secrets Fascination
Cost: -; Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Our Little Secret
While the Ebon Dragon delights in terrible acts of depravity, sometimes the best schemes have to be taken a little more slowly. The Shadow of All Things quickly grows bored with no-one to appreciate his perversion, so uses this charm to create a suitable audience for himself without giving the game away. Perverse Secrets Fascination expands the purview of its prerequisite so victims can be targeted for witnesses plans for acts of depravity too. Perhaps they sneak into the infernal's manse and discover the sketches he drew in jealous rage, or maybe the warlock simply tells them his plans while laughing maniacally. Either way, the victim is overcome by the sense of horror and guilt described in Our Little Secret unless he pays the willpower cost to resist and may not discuss these plans with anyone. Although this charm was originally used to create horrified spectators for infernal works, many warlocks find it useful in making sure that a hero who is likely to discover them soon anyway does not bring any allies with him.

A second purchase of this charm at Essence 4+ further enhances this charm so that the warlock draws power from any shame so wrought. Whenever a victim of Perverse Secrets Fascination has the opportunity to reveal the infernal's plans to a non-extra but does not, the infernal gains one free automatic success on the next roll he makes which furthers the relevant plan. The only exception to this is if the victim fails to reveal the plan to another individual who is also restrained from discussing that plan - instead, the warlock gains an automatic success if a victim does inform another victim this way. If the victim misses an opportunity to inform the actual target of the warlock's machinations, the infernal gains two automatic successes instead.

Association is Guilt
Cost: +2m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 5; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Our Little Secret
As delightful as it is when good men fail to act, it is far more hilarious when such beings are driven to work for the infernal's own goals due to their own selfish and secretive desires. When activating Our Little Secret, the warlock may pay a surcharge of 2m, 1wp. If he does so, the target of the charm is not only prevented from revealing an act of depravity, but is forced to go out of her way to actively conceal it. Instead of simply not talking about a rape she witnessed, she may threaten the rape victim to remain silent, or deliberately mislead any investigators who come looking.

Turn from the Light
Cost:; Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Our Little Secret
This charm makes its prerequisite truly insidious. As well as costing 3wp to resist Our Little Secret's effects, the target must also spend 1 valour channel. Every time the victim is given the opportunity to reveal the secret and doesn't, the fear of reprisal eats a valour channel away anyway as an emotion effect - making it unlikely that a victim will suddenly reveal the secret just because she is badgered relentlessly.

In addition, the warlock gains the ability to suddenly end the standard effects of Our Little Secret with a reflexive expenditure of 4m. If the target reveals the secret to someone to whom she holds a positive intimacy to within the same scene and that person reacts negatively, all of her positive intimacies towards people or organisations are immediately twisted into appropriate negative intimacies instead. The warlock then has his victim's tender emotions at his mercy: if he approaches and comforts the victim within the same scene, the victim gains an intimacy of reliant affection to the warlock, feeling that he is the only one who can understand how she felt. Both of these effects are emotion effects which may be resisted for the standard 3wp and the effects of Our Little Secret end completely if the warlock does not take advantage of this within the same scene.

For the Greater Evil
Cost: (+4m); Mins: Essence 4; Type: Permanent
Keywords: Heretical
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Verdant Emptiness Endowment, Our Little Secret
At a glance, even the darkest souls can appear magnaminous. The Ebon Dragon will sometimes spare a victim of some depravity, even if only to shock them even worse later. Cecelyne herself is often thought of for her generosity, although anyone with half a brain knows that she always sees some gain in the end.

This charm draws upon the selfish charity of both Yozi's to permanent upgrade Verdant Emptiness Endowment, allowing the warlock to grant wishes that he take or refrain from taking a specific action rather than granting any form of trait and the wish may also be phrased as an order or begging. "Avenge my brother!" "please stop torturing me!" and "someone help!" are all equally valid. Once the task is completed,
the beneficiary owes the infernal a debt as usual. If the infernal is asked to refrain from an action, this debt vanishes immediately if the infernal breaks the wish and takes action anyway.

As an additional power, the infernal may activate Our Little Secret reflexively, as a non-charm activation, at the moment the beneficiary accepts the 'wish', regardless of his range to the target (and ignoring the Touch keyword on that charm). The act of depravity is the act of making the wish itself.

Re: Infernal Charms
Forlorn Hostage Torment
Cost: -; Mins: Essence 4; Type: Permanent
Keywords: Heretical
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms:Will Crushing Force, Soul Crack Exploitation
There is no question that the re-programmed wretches left by She Who Lives in Her Name have their uses, but sometimes the infernal can't bring themselves to let the target off so easily.  This charm upgrades Will Crushing Force so that if the infernal breaks the target's will he may choose to forgoe the usual virtue and Motivation modifications enacted by the charm and instead invert the target's Motivation and intimacies into antagonistic opposites.  Whether the victim is trapped within his own body or some new entity entirely has been created at Essence 5+, the victim's unmodified subconscious is imprisoned within its new self and forced to spectate as they tear apart everything they ever cared for, unable to intervene.

Whenever the a non-extra victim gains willpower by completing their new Motivation or by managing a stunt which resonates with it, the warlock gains an equal amount of willpower.  The infernal also gains a point of willpower whenever a non-extra victim is forced to endure the destruction of an intimacy, such as when he murders his own wife.

Re: Infernal Charms
Unwitting Scapegoat Substitution
Cost: - (1wp); Mins: Essence 5; Type: Permanent
Keywords: Heretical, Blasphemy
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Palaces Like Sandcastles, Brooding Resentment Defence
Why should the warlock suffer a humiliating curse from breaking an oath they never cared about to begin with?  Surely he should be making laws, not obeying them.  This charm permanently upgrades Verdant Emptiness Endowment so that the infernal may pay an addition 1wp surcharge when activating it.  If he does so and his beneficiary later fails to meet his debts, instead of the normal effects of Verdant Emptiness Endowment the warlock may instead transfer delayed botches from one oath that he has broken himself onto the target, up to a maximum number of botches equal to the target's essence.  Many infernals take particular delight in transfering their debts to their original debtor - in this situation he may transfer botches and still benefit from Verdant Emptiness Endowment's normal effects.

As well as causing an uproar in heaven, use of this charm immediately alerts the yozis.  Cecelyne scowls as someone abuses the laws she created and the Ebon Dragon knows envy that another has found a new way of slipping from bonds.  It is up to the infernal to explain his heretical nature to these titans.

Finally, this charm has a weakness that most warlocks would sooner keep secret.  Should the target of this charm ever truly feel regret for her actions (at the Storyteller's discretion) and make a public apology, the curse is lifted from her and any remaining botches transfer back to the warlock.  The apology may be for breaking the oath or for taking the bargain in the first place, but may not be based solely on the consequences of the warlock's curse.  Many warlocks employ the use of charms such as Our Little Secret to help prevent such reprisals.

Re: Infernal Charms
Infernal Monster Style Expansions for Baxbart

Infernal Monster Form
Dynamic Form Transition
Infernal Monster Form may be activated reflexively and without counting as a charm activation under the following circumstances:
 - Whenever someone gains a new negative intimacy or loses one or more points of willpower upon witnessing an act of the infernal's savagery.
 - Whenever the infernal kills someone who has triggered his Retribution Will Follow.

New Charms:

Fury of the Titan-Prince
Cost: - (1wp); Mins: Martial Arts 3, Essence 4; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Fearless Frenzy Attitude
While each of the Yozi's express their own theme and some infernal's dubbed "Devil-Tigers" may wish to do the same, the Infernal Monster embodies a theme unto itself.  So what if they can assume some powerful forms of their patrons?  That isn't any reason to abandon their own anger.

Knowledge of this charm may well be viewed as Heretical by some, since it is merging the themes of a Yozi and the Infernal Monster.  It permanently upgrades the warlock's abilities.  If the Infernal Monster has both Retribution Will Follow and either a Form-Type shintai or Infernal Monster Form Active, he may respond to any further stimulus which would trigger Retributation Will Follow again by activating the unused Form charm at his next legal opportunity, paying a 1 willpower surcharge.  Used this way, the infernal may have Infernal Monster Form and one Form-Type shintai activated simultaneously.

Union in Blood
Cost: 4m; Mins: Martial Arts 5, Essence 3; Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK, Knockback, Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Fists of the Old Ones, World-Breaker Grip
The infernal monster may have no restraint, but he is not without reason, nor a heart.  If a desperate father wishes to reach his daughter, why not save him the trouble and reunite them?  This charm ends a clinch enhanced using World-Breaker Grip, multiplying the distance that the infernal may throw his victim by his martial arts.  Upon making the throw, the infernal rolls an unblockable, unarmed martial arts attack using the stats given for using bodies as improvised weaponry, which is also undodgeable for anyone with a positive intimacy towards someone else in the projectile.  This attack is applied to anyone within the path of the hurled foe; anyone who takes even a single level of damage from this attack is caught up in the furious throw and carried along with the original victim, adding a further +1B to the damage of the attack against anyone struck after.  If the projectile hits a solid object which more soak than the attacks raw bashing damage, everyone involved immediately comes to a stop and takes a number of dice of bashing damage equal to the number of yards left to travel, to a maximum of 25.  Either way, upon finally reaching the end of its trajectory, the initial victim takes damage as if crushed by the infernal's clinch, adding +1B to the damage for each additional person she has picked up along the way.

At Essence 4+ the attacks accuracy upgrades to +0 instead of -3 and at Essence 5 place the range doubles again up to a (martial arts x 10) multiplier.  A second purchase of this charm at Martial Arts 6, Essence 6 and which also requires the infernal to know Crack the Sky allows him to pay a 1wp surcharge when activating Union in Blood to hurl the opponent up to a mile away and doubling the raw damage of the attack before comparing it to the soak of any objects which may be in the way.

Re: Infernal Charms
Concept: Based off Adorjani charm to store weapons in elsewhere + charm to catch ranged attacks in anima and throw them later, upgrading the latter. Allows the scourge to "store" such attacks in the anima (cost? maximum number?) to be retrieved at a later date, allowing her to either drop any projectile to her hand or fire it immediately.
