Re: Character and group planning

Regardless, I haven't liked any that I've seen recently. So, it was either this or Lord Vader. :)

Re: Character and group planning

Male Cyborg pg. 2
Neutral Warrior pg. 1
2 on Neutral Demihuman pg. 3
2 on Neutral Robot pg. 4
2 on Neutral Alien pg. 5
Neutral Monster pg. 24

That's all I've spotted with a little poking around.  But maybe some of those will catch your eye if you want an actual warforged image for your avatar pic.

Re: Character and group planning

There are a few under Warrior Male as well.  Actually those are the ones I usually use, however I am not playing a warrior.. so I didn;t use them.

Re: Character and group planning

As we are speaking of faces and flavors of characters. I have a question for everyone.

What drew you to your characters Icon and where do you see your character ending up in 10 levels, or 20 levels?

Also, a challenge!, I wonder who I can talk into picking out a theme song for their character for their descriptions XD.

Re: Character and group planning

I had been figuring dragonfire adept all the way, but the random comment about a wyvern mount sparked my imagination, so I may be considering ranger at some point trying for a wyvern animal companion.

10 levels? I'm probably going to stay a fighter. . .anything besides suddenly having access to Psionics won't change that I think. . .

Re: Character and group planning

Not talking about levels. Story is always more interesting than stats XD

Always figured audio works, helps to flesh things out. Kin to how I see William having the voice of Puss in boots. Sure its silly but that voice on a gigantic man like William seemed fitting.

Re: Character and group planning

Hmm...

Probably wizard all the way, but possibly prestige class later on.

I thought it looked cool? Manipulating people into giving him control of kingdoms/governments/other things of importance. :D

Theme song would have to be Breaking the Rules by AC/DC.

Hard to say where he'll be in the next ten to twenty levels.  I don't know what adventures lay ahead of him.  Maybe he'll form his own branch of the druidic order out there, or maybe he'll turn out something like Hagrid and start raising and training all manner of unusual and otherwise dangerous animals (who was wanting a pet wyvern?).  The story shapes the character as much as vice versa, so I don't plan out my character progressions ahead of time.  Who knows, maybe something will happen and he'll actually fall from the path of the Druid.

As far as "theme song", I don't know exactly how well this will fit.  But I like it none the less and it seems suitable for a druid.

Re: Character and group planning

It looks like some people are using their character sheets to hold works in progress. That's fine, please just PM me when you're done and I'll look it over and change your name. Also PM me if I already changed your name and you weren't done yet.

Re: Character and group planning

Druid all the way. It's a pity there's only like... 4 diminuitive animals I can turn in to, and a bat doesn't strike me as a very good scouting form for, say, the middle of the day. Unless I'm one of those diurnal bats... DnD seems to favor the giants over the midgets :(

Re: Character and group planning

I don't think my character image is available on this site, I got it from google images. Had to do a bit of looking to find an intellectual kobold. What I'd have really liked is a kobold wearing reinforced leathers and sunglasses. Because yes, that is what Sven usually wears :)

I think I'll be sticking with Archivist, the "beat enemies up by knowing stuff about them" is what this character is all about. Although I might dip into Loremaster if this game goes all the way to level 10 or so.

As for theme song.... maybe "I thought I knew it all" by Megadeth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz9v-LtaTV4

Re: Character and group planning

Sven they may not have a kobold that looks like that but for a quick oh yea hes a kobold you could use male monster 209 (pg 12), Neutral monster 397 Pg 23,Neutral Monster 392 pg22, neutral monster 303 pg 17, just to name a quick gaze at them

if you wanted, so you could at least have portrait for everyone.

Re: Character and group planning

I'm planning on staying Warlock the whole time. I have a feeling Christof will be the reluctant wanderer, not really fitting in but trying to make his way and keep his conscience clean. Maybe move him towards a vigilante type thinking but not sure as of yet.

as for a theme song? How about The Sacrifice by Michael Nyman.

Why would I use any of those when I've got a perfectly good image of a kobold behind a pile of books (Sven in his natural habitat).

I'll be playing a Simple Variant Rogue for now, but as soon as I hit level 2, I'll also be multi-classing into a Battle Sorcerer.  ^_^
