Nock ! Aim !  Fire !

I see Someone doesn't have a sense of humour about pigeons and all those statues of Her that they've been sitting on.  Or something like that ...  ;>

...every time I really just start to think Aarnr is crazy, he frames something in a way that makes me seriously wonder if it's actually everyone else.

I like that pic!  Very nice, boss!

Also, not to be picky, but it's 'Nock, aim, loose'.  'Fire', despite it having turned up in the cringe-worthy Two Towers movie, is a convention that rose when matchlock rifles came into being.  ^_^

I could argue that setting fire to the arrow first never goes astray ... but you're right, of course !  :>

I read that the Hunger Games did the archery much better than the Avengers (seems they had Hawkeye holding the bow in the wrong hand for the actor).

I've been a bit burned out, I think ,but I'm feeling better now.  Energy is coming back.  I'm going to try to get caught up everywhere - this is just one of those, a catch-up post.

Re: The New Chamber of Lost Souls. (OOC)

Apologies for the slightly sporadic and irregular posting just lately.  Have been tired as a tired thing that lectures in Advanced Tiredness at University.  No idea why... maybe caught a bug of some description.  Think I'm starting to get over it now.

Sporadic and irregular is still wonderful to behold !  :>

Yeah, I've been down and out since I got a flu jab.  As I subsequently pointed out, I probably should have gone for the anti-flu jab instead !

Re: The New Chamber of Lost Souls. (OOC)

've been absent for a week, at least.  :(  Sorry about that.

1.  My beloved Uncle passed on two weeks ago.  Not from Corona, but Parkinson's and pneumonia.
2.  My Mother in Law, with whom we had a difficult (read, abusive) relationship, passed on last Friday from Coronavirus.

Emotions have been fraught.

I'm going to try to get back into some kind of schedule.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend.  Don't worry about posting here, you need to take some time to take care of yourself.

Much as I love Eilieen, agreed, obviously.  Unless, of course, posting here is self care!  Either way, hugs if you want them!

And some developments on the flying car front which I know our illustrious GM has been waiting on for some time:

I know, no froggin' passengers yet, but it's a step in the right direction.  :>

Indeed... one small step for a flying car, but hopefully a giant leap for anything standing in the way scratching itself.

Wait... flying F1 cars?  Wouldn't that be like pod racing?

Aarnr's always liked the expression 'good morrow', as it expresses a hope that the listener will survive the coming day.

Oh, thank... um... somebody.  When I saw that from Velanya I was afraid Aarnr was going to say something about the lack of bones in his breakfast.
