"It's the last place I want her to be." Liadan said, staring at the Black Raven. She did not want to go any closer to the place, much less inside. "I have to make sure."

"I don't even think the door is unlocked. Shawn wasn't taking any chances with this place when he shut it down. In fact, I'm surprised it's still standing."

"That doesn't mean she's not inside." Liadan said. "Evil people are drawn to this place... They'd want to hurt my daughter." Liadan began walking towards the shut down tavern.

Re: Shire Lanes
Aron didn't like it.  If there was any sort of access, who knew who or what they'd find inside. "Maybe we should get Shawn... " he said, following Lia toward the door.

"He takes too long, always following the letter of the law.... If Yehudit's in there she needs us now!" Liadan gasped when she noticed that the door was off its hinges.

Fresh air well away from the forge, and the grisly center piece, helped Larrigan clear his head. he hummed softly for a while then began to sing softly. The soft tune, and lyrics helping his mood as he headed toward the healers hut.

Re: Shire Lanes
Sileas was slowly making her way to the schoolhouse, worried to her core about her father and Larrigan. What if Andy did something? Why hadn't they returned to the healer's for her if he hadn't? She trembled and glanced around. Maybe she should have stayed at the cottage. But she had been tired of sitting there alone.

Re: Shire Lanes
As larrigan walked he spied Sileas in the distance, her walk and the way she carried herself old him she was drifting toward one of her dark moods. He hooked his hammer through his belt and uncased his fiddle. when words failed him he knew his fiddle would find a way to speak for him.

He began to play, not as energetic and up beat as he often played, but the music was a tune he liked to play when he found himself setting under a tree with Sileas. he hoped the music would turn Sileas around and let her know he was not giving in and letting the days events ruin his excitement for her.

Sileas's next step faltered as the strains of Larrigan's fiddle reached her. Her lips curved into a smile before she even turned around. It was one of her favorite songs that he played. Sileas turned around and then ran toward him.

larrigan smiled and wrapped Sileas up as she reached him happy to see her responding to his music." I thought that would get your attention."

He hugged her and gave her a kiss taking her by the hand and motioning toward the schoolhouse." Shall we continue My betrothed."

Sileas kissed him back, her eyes shining and filled with happiness. There was a voice inside her head that was trying to say it wasn't proper, but Yehudit would heal and she would want Sileas happy. "Yes, let's." She eyed the sack he was carrying. "And what might you have in there?"

"I have been preparing this selection for weeks, in secret, sneaking out inthe middle of the night to avoid spotted by anyone." Larrigan teased and held the sack slightly away form her." A selection of you favorite pastries I had prepared specially for this night, a bottle of cider, and a bottle of wine chosen by master Hohlda for just this occasion."

Tears of joy welled in Sileas's eyes. "Oh, Larrigan. This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me," she whispered. "I refuse to give Andy the power to strip my joy from this day. Aside from the day I found Mama and Papa, this is the most important, most beautiful, most wonderful day of my life. The beginning of my future with the man I love more than life itself."

"I couldn't be happier myself." Larrigan had to try not to get a little misty eyed himself. His smile however was brighter than the noon sun. he offered her his arm and bowed graciously to her. "My betrothed may I have the honor of escorting you to your residence."

Sileas wrapped her arm around his, her smile growing brighter despite her happy tears. "You are making me feel like a princess, my heart. Of course, I would be most happy to have my betrothed escort me home. Why don't we sit on the bench out back and enjoy our celebration under the stars?"

"that my dear would be a grand Idea." Larrigan headed them to a bench under a large oak with a broad view of the sky and the rising moon. "The only thing as perfect as you is this view."

He whistled as he walked, enjoying the wet weather. Aislyn had been back in the village for a couple days so it was probably time to move his master's plan further ahead.

Millie:
Millie moved around Yehudit to open the door for her. It looked like the rain was tapering off a bit, always a good sign.

Yehudit tried to avoid puddles, but drier ground was uneven ground so it was tiring. Finally Yehudit just let herself splash through mud puddles. It was a good thing she did not have her new dress for the party yet. Yehudit paused to rest for a moment. She looked at the bakery. She could see smoke billowing from the chimneys connected to the ovens and could smell something baking. Yehudit blinked. "Is your mother there?"

"Not as far as I know. I thought someone else purchased the bakery. She hasn't expressed any desire to me regarding reopening it. I can't see her moving back in, not with all of the memories it holds."

"But your father is in there." Yehudit said, shifting on her crutch. "Maybe he bought back he bakery. Whoever had bought it wasn't doing anything with it."

"Maybe." Millie had never been so confused. She hadn't understood anything about her family since her father disappeared. "We should ask your father, he handles all of the transactions for the businesses and houses, doesn't he?"

"Yeah." Yehudit said. "You can ask him when we get to my home."

Yehudit wondered why her father had not said anything about the bakery being taken back, but maybe it was supposed to be a surprise.

Yehudit nodded. "Let's go."

Yehudit continued hobbling around the inn to the back entrance.
