Re: Andy's Lair
Aron gently took her hand. "Yes, his head is gone from his body. I think they're determining how to take the body back, no one wants to leave it unattended while we go in the village." He did his very best to be strong for his little girl. "Difyr will make everything better."

Re: Andy's Lair
"Wish I could spit on it." Yehudit said sadly. She was in a lot of pain and was not looking forward to her trip back to the village, it hurt to move or be moved and it was a long way back. Fainting did not look so bad.

Re: Andy's Lair
"I know, baby girl. We will figure out something for when you are stronger and can move about. I promise." Aron didn't know what, but there had to be some way for her to exact her much needed revenge.

Re: Andy's Lair
Liadan could not keep the worry out of her eyes. Yehudit had broken bones, moving her was bound to make her condition worse.

"Be careful, Aron." Liadan fussed. "Don't bump or jar her at all."

"We are going to do our best. Shawn is going to take the other end. It will be slow going, but neither of us want to cause her any more pain."

Re: Andy's Lair
Liadan's eyes were damp. She had always wanted to protect Yehudit from getting hurt. But Yehudit had been beaten so severely, Liadan had failed her daughter. She wished she had something to give Yehudit for the pain, but she had nothing.

Re: Andy's Lair
Aron glanced at Lia, trying unsuccessfully to hide his pain for his daughter. They had all failed her in one way or another. He could only imagine what Shawn was feeling. Shawn entered the cell, and walked over to Sileas. He hugged her tightly. "Walk with us to Difyr's. You can get some tea there. Larrigan will meet us there after he takes care of the body."

Re: Andy's Lair
Yehudit had not seen Sileas since she went to spit on Andy.

"Cousin?" Yehudit called.

Her father had broken through part of the shock that had set in, cut through the veil of memories and the horror she had felt...Sileas tried to force her emotions down and she moved over to the makeshift stretcher. "I'm right here, Yehudit."

Re: Andy's Lair
"You okay?" Yehudit remembered what Andy had told her about this cell, that it was his favorite because this was where he had Sileas. Yehudit took a moment to worry about Sileas instead of her own agony. "We gotta get out of here."

Re: Andy's Lair
"Admittedly I will be better once we are out of here, but our concern needs to be on you right now. I just need to hold it together until we get to Difyr's. Then I may drink a whole pot of tea." Sileas managed a half-hearted smile. "But Andy's been stopped, and that's a good thing."

"A very good thing." Yehudit agreed, "I you hadn't killed him he would've- $@*%" Yehudit gave a shudder of disgust which was a mistake, just shuddering hurt so much she passed out cold.

Re: Andy's Lair
Sileas nearly cried out for Yehudit to wake up, but she knew from experience that passing out when in so much pain was a blessing. "I'll take one of the sides, that should help steady Yehudit from being jostled."

Her father nodded. "I'll just let Larrigan know you're going with us and to meet us at the healers."

Liadan felt Yehudit's forehead, she thought she felt a little warm, which only made Liadan worry more. She gently tucked Sileas's tunic around her daughter.

Shawn stepped out of the lair and walked over to Larrigan. "We are going to take Yehudit down to Difyr's, I'm taking Sileas along so she can some of her calming tea while we're there. Meet us there, all right?"

Re: Andy's Lair
Shawn came back inside and took his place at Yehudit's feet. He looked to Aron. "Are we ready?" He studied their makeshift stretcher. "Lia, why don't you and Sileas take the sides to make the cloak steadier for Yehudit? And for heaven's sake, no one stumble or trip."

"You be sure not to trip." Liadan trusted everyone else to keep their footing for Yehudit's sake.

Sileas strapped her bow to her back, next to the quiver. She bent down to grab the edge of the cloak. "I am ready when everyone else is."

"Yehudit's fainted." Liadan said, annoyed that Shawn had not noticed that Yehudit was in so much pain she lost consciousness.

Re: Andy's Lair
Having just come back inside and immediately setting to work to get Yehudit out of there, Shawn had no idea why Lia was annoyed with him now. He was honestly beginning to tire of her but he wouldn't let it affect him getting Yehudit to Difyr. "On three. One...two...three..." Once the cloak was lifted, Shawn carefully made his way from the lair, walking backwards.

Liadan gently lifted her side and held it as level as she could. She urged the men to get Yehudit to Difyr's as swiftly and gently as possible.

Re: Andy's Lair
Larrigan used Andy's cloak to rap the body, and hefted it over his shoulder. He Joined the rest, carrying his grisly bundle with a look of disgust as he shifted it to keep from being stained with the blood still seeping from it.He returned to Sileas the to arrows he had removed from the body with a grim nod.

"I am ready, lets get her home."

Re: Andy's Lair
Sileas slid the arrows back into the quiver before lifting Yehudit. As much as she wanted to look at Larrigan on the way to the healer's, she didn't want to lay eyes on Andy's body, even though it was wrapped.
