Re:OOC

In reply to Seeker of Truth (msg #730):

Okay, so that means that we use our CAs for every 10 meters? If I use 3 CAs to move 30 meters, does that mean I can still have an aggressive action with another CA if I have 5? Or are you saying that all CAs once 30 meters is used up go toward defence?
And does that also mean that I made it a little farther before this next round kicked in?

Re:OOC

ok, sorry for this, but I have edited the movement rules again, SORRY.

Please look in Houserules message #5 and read those movement and charge rules.

After reading, and reading, and reading some more, these are the rules we will use...

Re:OOC

Good questions from Xuan, who made me read and read some more on the movement rules.  RQII isn't the most clear on this, problem is, this system is not super heroes running around, mostly horses and footed/armored dudes.

Okay, so that means that we use our CAs for every 10 meters?
You get to move 8m(changed back) during the round, this is a walking pace. You can move 8 and attack in that round costing 1CA. Or if you just move 8m, it will also cost 1CA becuase it still takes time to do the movement. You can go faster and farther than 8m, effectively running/sprinting, this becomes a move action and to Jog-to-sprinting which is more than 8m, then it will cost 1CA to do so. You can sprint 10meters per 1 CA, but not attack. You can charge, which is different than sprinting 10m, then attacking someone. There are bonuses and minuses to Charging.

If I use 3 CAs to move 30 meters, does that mean I can still have an aggressive action with another CA if I have 5? Yes, but remember, in Xuan's case 4CAs are regular actions, and the 5th is a martial arts off hand thing which must be used to do something with his off hand.

Or are you saying that all CAs once 30 meters is used up go toward defence? No, but if you are attacked while using "move actions" you can only use CAs for defense. There are straffing rules, by the way, but you are moving 8m or less, and there are hinderances when firing. Attacking skill can't be higher than your Athletics Skill, so if your athletics skill is 50% and your gun skill is 90%, if you move and shoot, your skill is only 50%.

And does that also mean that I made it a little farther before this next round kicked in? This is for Kirby and Xuan, yes, you may move upto your 40m,
but -30% to your Stealth skill for that. So Xuan, could technically move up on the roof to a different spot, but you might get seen. Also, in Kirby's case, if he were hut hutting like a good soldier doing the dash-hide, look around bush, then dash-hide to get his 40m of running in. He would need to roll his Military training skill, which could allow him to move that fast in this scenerio without minuses. Must be good to have some Ranger Training:)

It did, some good catches, but i figured it would be a much higher scorin game.
I wasn't really convinced that Eli should have gotten the mvp, which should have been a no brainer.

Re:OOC

Seeker, some confirmation please:
What is the rough height of the roof of the cottage (ground to gutter)?
Is there a tree in AJ12-13? It looks like there's one casting a shadow on the roof.

Thanks

Oh, and please don't shoot me in mid-air. That would suck. Did I mention I'm wearing all black?

Good Max.

I'm slowly opening a can of whoop-ass. I've barely gotten through the lid though. I'm hoping it's still got some freshness by the time the lid finally comes off.

How are you going? Heliotrope is a good color on you. Is it from your aura projection or the plant you're hiding in? Hope you don't get a rash from it.

Re:OOC

In reply to Max Jackson (msg #746):

Do you mean Chow Yun Fat? Don't worry. I'm definitely watching out for that guy. Hiding would be more accurate.

There used to be another Fat to watch out for. We used to call him simply The Fat. Originally he was named E. Honda, and his headbutts were wicked awesome, always done with a resounding "Bill Clinton".

If this guy does a flying headbutt at me, I'll have to pull out my Haduken or my Shoryuken and shut him down. Chest-buster, Baby. Anyone who ever played SF2, you know what I'm talkin' about.

Now look what happened. I'm all nostalgic. And hankering on some SF2 ass-stomping.

Only a true fan would know that punishing cheese. You were either the victim or the cheeser himself. I've got a love-hate for that move.
