Re: OOC 3

Did the stairs fall too quickly for anyone to do anything about it? Or is there a chance that someone with Kenetic or Telekenitic powers might have something to say about it?

Can I wait to react to what someone else does and then go? Do I have to give you a power I will use and how Max will react to someone else's actions?

Re: OOC 3

As part of this scenario I wanted the stairwell to be non-existant, I made it the bad guys first action.  The stairwell had erupted sort of making it irreparable, so not sure anyone could have don't anything to stop the stairwell from being non functional. Also her presence on the upper banister and then the stairs exploding would have shocked everyone. I also wanted certain npcs out of the first part of the fight.  I don't really want to have to fight myself.  Consider it a part of a cutout scene.

Max, just tell me what you are waiting for to go.  You don't have to include a power, something like, "I will wait until Kirby goes, and then I will follow his lead." Tell me what you are waiting for, or after whom you will go.

Re: OOC 3

Some times we will go in specific SR order.  We are going to do that currently.  Sometimes I will shift a battle for people to go concurrently.  At this time we will go one step at a time.

Cool Hands Luke is in delay

Up next Tsunami

Then Arrowhead,

From there just keep it going until I am up or insert something new.  Please don't worry about waiting for me.  I am fairly on top of things at the moment and will get back to PMs and such.

Please don't post in the combat thread.

sometimes when I'm excited I forget that you aren't in my head and I leave out or blur important details.  I have gone back and edited my 1st round post from Elizabeth to help make things more clear.  I hope it helps a little.

Hey Max, does your telekinetic barrier block telekinesis? Just curious.

In reply to Xuan Tien John Wu (msg # 223):

As I understand psychic battle from the book. It will come down to the resistant rolls and PP used. And Max has about 7% of his total PP left.

Not sure how Seeker would play out a situation where Max put a kinetic field around John to specifically protect him from the witches telekinetic power. Again I think it would come down to a skill checks and so forth.

Seeker how would this work?

Re: OOC 3

Does ones chance to roll a critical hit move up as ones skill numbers move up? IE if Maxs Throw skill was 70% that meant his to crit roll was 1-2, when Maxs Throw skill got to 80% his to crit roll became 1-3 and so on. Is this the case excluding these numbers.

Re: OOC 3

I was sort of implying more of a shield around the demon lady, keep her in place, keep her from doing any more TK attacks, not to protect me.

And to just jump in there with Crits, a crit is always 10% of your skill, so yes it does increase when a skill increases.

20% skill - Crit on 1-2% (a roll of 1 or 2 on the d100)
70% skill - Crit on 1-7%
80% skill - Crit on 1-8%
and so on.

Sounds like you may have short changed yourself there previously.

Re: OOC 3

psychic battle is not something I have done yet, read through, but not played through.  Are you trying to engage in psychic combat? If so I will read up on it.

With Telekinesis, it is a physical battle against skill checks and at this point pp or whats left and hit points.  Other psychic powers do involve psychic warefare.

Hey, Kirby can fly!! He's not Captain America after all. More...Flying Captain America. Should you have a shield?

Now, find a way to turn yourself into a human missile. The kinetic force of you smashing into something should be incredible.

In reply to Edmund Kirby Smith IV (msg # 232):

Unfortunately at this point I would say no. It's a new power and I had to plead a heavy case with the Seeker to make this happen with Tibbs.

My future intent for this power is to inter-link the whole team and any guest spots that might be filed with the ability to communicate telepathically as a whole. Just a thought...no pun intended...LOL!

Re: OOC 3

sorry guys, been a little busy.  I have the ability to exorcise this bitch, but I need to get a magic circle around it.  And I need it weakened, I sense that it is really strong, and seeker says it's been in the woman about 3-5 weeks, which means it is considered to have a decent hold on her.  Most of the stuff that I can throw at it might also hurt Kirby's grandma, trying to avoid that.  But, I have some powers to drive it out if we can hold it down and I can get to it.

By the way, the light stairwell I just made will hold anyone during this round, so Aeviternus or anyone could use it, it looks solid, and this was a increase power from a couple of months ago, nothing new, except I haven't been able to use it yet.

Seriously though this creature is trying to get a hold on her and if we can drive it out, that is our best bet.

Aeviternus, can you do any soul warfare on it, that could help a lot if you can distract it.  This thing can attack all of us at once and drop us.  Just so you know, the things with powers are the scariest in this system.  Seeker could attempt with Manipulation, to hit all of us with all sorts of demonic powers.  Unfortunately, I have to touch this bitch at this point to use my power cuz I don't have enough Power Points to manipulate it, lol.  I think seeker planned this shit the whole time, which probably means Aeviternus that he has something planned for you if you try to soul fight it, so well, GO FOR IT !

Didn't JonKae say something about keeping her from fleeing with the storm? Is exorsism the same as allowing her to flee?

I did/am, I don't have enough to manipulate two powers, so I am making my move and bringing my light manifestation into action, which I can use next roun without cost. And it was something I was going to do no matter what, but I still have time to finish our plan.

Re: OOC 3

Hey everyone, it is back down to the old men, then back up to the top of the order, I am also needing to read up on something for Ace so that he can fully finish his turn.
It may be a bit, but you all can still convesate, I believe Max and Orlando can still work out some stuff.
