I was wondering if there is interest in game using Zweihander. I'm open to what types of plots would be enjoyable.

I've got to give Zweihander some love, it's a great system. I'd definitely play.

I've been thinking about two settings that I think Zweihander would work well in. The first is a reimagining of Ravenloft, mashed up with a little bit of H.P. Lovecraft, maybe. The other is the setting of Glen Cook's 'The Black Company.' Either of those is dark enough for Zweihander's mechanics for corruption, disease, and insanity to really shine. That's the key, for me, just keep it dark, whatever you do, and it will be a fun game.

I hope we get some more interest in this thread. There has got to be more than two people out there who'd like to play.

I'm leaning towards Black Company as well.

The only thing with that setting is that war is basically a constant fact of life. Zweihander doesn't really have mechanics to handle those sorts of large scale battles. It can be worked around and still be fun, but it would be nice to be able to keep large scale conflicts on the table.

I tried (and failed) to run a Zweihander game a while back.

I'd be interested in giving it a try as a player.  In general, I'd be interested in a game that has the PCs as something other than total noobs (slightly into the intermediate tier seems like a good place to be).

I'd be interested as well. Any setup or potential plot/story hooks would work for me.

I'd love to play in an urban based campaign - but I'm open to anything.
