Trying to decide on my next campaign...
Well, lately my rpol games are kind of petering out slightly. They have the possibility of picking up again and hopefully will after the holidays, but if they're going to dwindle then I'm going to start thinking of my next project. I've been GMing the same 2 games for 5 and 10 years straight so the idea of doing something new is exciting to say the least. Before I go all nuts though, I'm trying to gauge general interest so I actually create a game people want to play. I have it narrowed down to these possibilities:
1. A home brew version of Borderlands (based on the video games). Several people have expressed interest in this already.
2. A campaign based in Arthurian legend,(you know, King Arthur, Merlin, all that jazz) also half homebrew half d&d
3. A home-brew One Punch Man campaign where you start off as class C and eventually work your way up to class S. You would make your own original characters but you'd get a chance to interact with some of the current, well-loved characters as NPC's.
All of these choices would require some work on my part to get the rules and home brew details going, hence I don't want to put in all that effort until I know general interest, and it wouldn't be ready for a few months. Hence this is all theoretical for the moment, but I tend to put a lot of effort into my settings and I don't want to waste energy if there is no audience. So feel free to respond to this and cast your vote so to speak and I'll be able to figure out what fits best from that. Thanks!
