So, with the corebook in my hands, I wanted to check for interest in players for a campaign. I’d most likely start out with published adventures from the starter kit and elsewhere to learn the system fully before branching out to original stories.

I’d be following the in-universe plot line, with the PCs being a newly forming team set to defend Earth in the aftermath of OblivAeon. I’d welcome any ideas for plot threads to weave into the game, individual/solo ‘books’ are as important as the team comic.

Full disclosure I’m green on the rules, so I’d be learning and mastering GMing at the same time players are learning the system. So I’d ask anyone interested to be patient as I would be for players making mistakes.

Thank you for letting me know this game existed. I have now ordered the Core Rules as well.

Sounds good, MrKinister. With it being so new, I’m thinking there won’t yet be a ton of people looking for a SC game. If you’d like, if I get enough interest to start, I can at least add you as a lurker until you’re ready to join so you can follow along until then.

I have the book but have never played and would play but as green on the rules as you.

Would love to give it a try. Played the first issue of the quick start when that came out. Have the pdf from the kickstart. Regret not going all in with physical copy.

Loved the preview from years ago and I backed the Kickstarter.  Sign me up!

Playing the canon characters or originals?

Dream, to answer your question it will be original characters though you can of course weave your origin/backstory in with existing heroes, villains, or places/environments in the setting.

And, yes, with the response here I will open up the game for submissions. There is a guideline post visible to all, I’ll include a link to the game below. After I see how many we get I will determine if I need to put up a wanted ad. See you guys/gals over there.
