Premise: Ten years ago, the Golden Company were the greatest adventurers of the Age. Their skill with sword and spell and roguish luck were matched by none. They outwitted gods, slew monsters, and were each heroes in their own right. Together they defeated the Dark Lord and saved the world in the process. However, for some unknown reason, the Company broke apart and they went their separate ways. Now they must join together again and face an even greater threat.

Notes: This is a game about epic heroes as a sort of dysfunctional family. Though they might have saved the world, there were undercurrents of tension between the heroes that drove them apart. Not only must they face the current enemy du jour, they have their own past demons that have come to haunt them, in whatever form that might take.
