Advice wanted

I am preparing to attempt to run a Soulbound game again (considering I now have most of the books I was missing, save Champions of Death and Destruction).

It will be Order based, for obvious reasons, but.

Should I run a simple game first, or jump right into the grand idea, and use the simple game as an interlude?

Many thanks

If you're confident and invested in your big ideas then you might as well jump straight into them, but if it were me I think I'd probably start with something smaller to help players get familiar with the game, settle group dynamics, and maybe see whether you lose anyone to attrition before committing to the grand plan. Soulbound characters can come from very different realms and backgrounds, so unless your party is supposed to be newly bound I think it might be good to do something to let them get a little closer before the real challenge - so long as it doesn't overstay its welcome of course.

I'd certainly be interested in playing whichever way you choose to go.
