Oof, sorry for such a long break without a reply. I was having trouble putting together a starting pitch, but I finally figured it out. I hope people are still interested. Here is a
link to the game I've got a post up with a rundown of the system rules as well as a link to the pdf site. Let me know in your RTJ if you were here in the IC thread so I can make sure to give you priority.
Here is the game pitch after the jump:
Across the Stars
The galaxy is pretty wild and chaotic place. Outside of the Interstellar Consortium Systems and the Hive Infestation, the stars are littered with alien empires, caravan fleets, and space pirates, all competing with each other to come out on top. In other words, the galaxy is rife with opportunities to score a quick influx of credits...for those willing to risk getting their hands dirty and their noses bloodied.
You are part of a crew of such likeminded individuals. Unfortunately, you also happen have fallen on hard times. You took a job that happened to inconvenience the notorious pirate Captain Bloodmoon, and he took out his frustrations on your poor ship, the
Lucky Break. Amid a relentless broadside of beam cannons, the
Break's Skip Drive managed to make one final hop to Starport H4V3N before irreparably frying out. It's hard getting kicked back to the bottom of the pecking order, but at least you're alive. And with a little hard work, you'll find yourself once again traveling across the stars...
This is a
MATURE Lasers and Feelings game about a group of shipmates finding friends, making enemies, and getting into trouble as they adventure across the galaxy. It is meant to be a light-hearted romp around the galaxy, inspired by Star Wars, Titan A.E., Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and Star Trek's Strange New Worlds.
