Just a little interest check threads to see if anyone would be interested in a default setting T2K game. I want to get a session zero going on before launching into more details, as I'd like to set the tone, goals, etc... with the players instead of simply imposing mine.

I'd like to give it a shot, though it will depend on post rate.

I should be able to do one major GM post every 2 days depending on the scene, and daily for shorter ones, oike combat and conversations

That post rate would really work for me so I will toss my Kevlar helmet into the pot as an interested player. :)

I think 4e is the best T2K yet, and the amount of fan material and official too is amazing. Have you gotten Urban Operations? From what I read in it, there some good meat and potatoes there for the closer range stuff :)

I haven't, at least not yet. It looks very interesting but I might prefer getting a game proper off the ground before chucking in a new sourcebook. I'll admit Im tempted to get some of the community stuff that's been put out under Free League lisence, like the extra civilian occupations, extra vehicles and weapons. Hell, I might even dip into the rules for helicopters :P

I have the core set and haven't had the chance to give the game a try.  I would be interested in joining.

I definitely recommend the “More Civilian Career Paths” and “Small Arms: A Firearms Expansion for Twilight 2000 4th Edition”  at the least (“Small Arms” even includes Flintlock weapons….).

Urban Operations includes 2 Archetypes (Cop and Criminal) and 5 new Specialties (Authority, Close Quarters Specialist, Cryptographer, Liar and Thief) which I could provide details of if needed. :)

I kind of want to get in a game so can see how it runs so I could figure out a campaign to run myself… lol

So, I'm counting one "maybe" and two "yes". If I can drum up some more interest I'll set up a thread so we can have our session zero and hash things out.

With everything currently happening in Europe I could easily see this not sitting well with some folks, which I'm totally okay with.

I can count myself as throwing my hat into the game, though I have a bit of a caveat so everyone is on the same playing field.

My posting will appear sporadic at times due to my shift work schedule. I work two weeks of days and two weeks of nights. It's the nights that are havoc for gaming as I wouldn't be posting until well after everyone else has by more than a few hours. That's where I get tripped up when it comes to play by post.

Don't worry too much about it. I do shift work as well, so I know how things can get wonky sometimes. I'm sure we can figure something out.

It seems to me we have enough interest to warrant setting up a game. I'll get a thread up in the next few days and send out invites :) We'll start with a Session 0 type thing so we can all discuss what we want out of the game. I find that when GMs just open up recruitment without hashing things out with a group, everyone tends to come to the virtual table with varying expectations, and when those expectations aren't met, then, people drop out. I figure if we talk about it all as a group before hand we can dispel some of that.

Hi, I would be interested in this, not played since 1st edition though so will need to brush up on rules

I would love to participate also, though like steve I haven't played the game since 1st edition and it may take some refreshing to get use to the new rules.

I picked up a copy of 4th Ed this summer; love the new setup. Count me interested.
