Call of Cthulhu - new game
I'm prepping a new Call of Cthulhu game and want to gauge interest.

I'm intending it to be a sort of introduction to the system and the setting, suitable for beginners. It starts in Boston with four to eight characters who will start innocent of any knowledge of Things Man Is Not Meant to Know. Some will probably begin as solo adventures though I plan for them to come together as their stories develop and intertwine.

Yes, please, sounds like it'd be fun. I only have the quickstart rules though.

Is anyone else interested in a pre-gen? My total jam is con events, so I dig pre-gens because they work as an intentional cast for a story. If so, when this gets to RTJ, mention it.

I do believe this will get to RTJs and all. Right now, I'm preparing some con events for Origins June 21-25, so may not get kicked off until after that. I want to get it begun before but it's kind of a balancing act, not to mention RL.

Apologies, All.

Got back from Origins with dreadful con crud/sinus infection (not helped by air travel). Partway through course of antibiotics and feeling like maybe I won't fall asleep/pass out every five minutes.

Still getting the new game ready.

I’ve been struggling to come up with a “slow burn” scenario that isn’t Mythos—y.

What I think I’ll do is open a game and let the players do some charges before setting the story.

Watch for a Players ad soon.
