Interest Check: Group where we takes turn at GMing?

I'm interested in forming a game where we meet up over RPOL, do a play by post and take turns playing one-shots of games we make up. I'd like to do this with the Henshin!: A Sentai RPG system. I've been a fan of Henshin Heroes since I was a child, and been into RPGs online since I was a teenager. I'd like to combine them, but since the play-by-posts I've run with the system tend not to finish their stories, (the longest one only lasted a year on Discord). I'd like to give other people a chance to make modules. Also I'd like to be a player but have been having trouble finding games.

If you aren't familiar with Henshin!: A Sentai RPG it is a token-based system used to make Henshin Hero games where 3-5 players take a turn and the gm creates monsters, villains or obstacles for them to fight. It is mostly freeform in practice but the tokens do come into play in what everyone is allowed to do in one "episode", (the name for sessions or just single storylines). I have a copy of the system if my players don't and I'd like to join as a player and run some modules I create as well.

Would anybody on RPOL be interested in a small group where we take turns running and playing this kind of game?

While it's a nice idea, I've personally never seen it work.    It either dies somewhere during the first person's tenure or collapses when no one else wants to move int the GMing role.

Being as a one shot can take a year or two to complete PbP, coupled with the rate of attrition, it’s unlikely that GM2 will ever get to start. On the other hand, why not get three GMs to run concurrent games with a group of six players in them?

In reply to Wildcard (msg # 1):

Yea, it is a great idea, but games can take so long to complete a story GM2 might not start for a year or more, and sadly all to often games die in under a year.

Thank you all for the input. I was thinking we all take turns per episode, (basically thinking of it like a tv episode. Defeat a single monster or crime and save the day). While this might not exactly inspire confidence, during the year I ran this Henshin! game over Discord live-text we finished about 9 official episodes and 3 "bonus", (improvised adventures when not all players were available) episodes in that time. I'll keep it in mind, that it isn't exactly the same thing on RPOL though.

Would any of you three or anyone else be interested in doing this if we run three games with three different GMs on the forum? If we did it concurrently like Gaffer suggests, I mean.
