Classic Traveller // Across the Bright Face

Pondering a Classic Traveller, using the original 3 volume boxed set of rules along with the GDW digest supplements. There were several re-writes over the years &  I do not have all of them. The starting adventure would be Across the Bright Face, probably with story alterations & such. After that, who knows ?? It would depend upon how the story progresses, actions taken, & their ramification's.

I have the original boxed set digest rules & the Classic Traveller CD ROM for reference.

Yes to psionics, Aslan, Vargr, & Droyne characters. Solomani ?? Probably no Hiver, K-Kree or other alien characters.

Death during character gen means a serious injury resulting in a Drifter (I believe) final career choice for your last 3 years. You can still roll for Drifter skills, advancement, etc.

Probably limited to 6-7 characters max in play. Others could be kept on a replacement player list.

I will be on vacation the next 2 weeks, taking my laptop to check in at random times.

I find myself interested. I guess if you build it, I would try it. I've not actually played much.
Long ago I coded a routine to generate (pseudo-randomly) a map for a single sector. How long ago? The routine had the CoCo write the data onto a cassette tape. I never quite finished the routine that would retrieve the data and display the map.
So, yeah, this sounds promising.

Soulsight, I always assumed the sector maps were a bit sparse for stars & worlds. There must be a lot of other stellar stuff in the 'blank' hexes since it is of no interest for commercial/population development.
