Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

Osman had gotten an odd letter leading him to New Boston's embassy.

Distrusted Enemy,

I lothe your arrival on Luna, and demand you stay as far away from the New Boston CCG embassy as possable for I do not wish to see you for the most longest of times. This is a matter if no importance of any sort an you should ignore this post haste. I was told though mutual foes you was never to be trusted with anything so I was most porcratenaic of ever contacting you, which is exsactly why I chose not to contact you at all.

Worst wishes,
Trebor of the unselie.

Why was it always the weird ones that want to talk to him?

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

Osman couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.  These days, it was all he could really do.  He ensured that his posse was all rounded up, the cult, the kids, his apprentice and Lactose and lifted off for New Boston.

While in transit, he had them all run on the ship's systems, giving the 'kids' only minimal duties since they were largely useless with anything and everything.  He carefully checked the sensor readings since the last thing he ever wanted was a nasty surprise or repeat of what had happened.  Between monitoring them and the ship, he read up on the lost history of what had happened while they had been locked up.

So many amazing changes!

But when they got to New Boston, he alerted their control.  Then he landed the ship and got directions to the Embassy.

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

The embassy building was of odd designee, some hints of Egyptian and Greek architecture that made it stand out from the sleeker buildings around it. Activity was a bit more rushed than normal about such places, but it was to be expected with all that was going on. Finding fae was never too hard, you just had to follow there 'glamor'... the stuff of the dream, the astral residue left its mark here and there where ever they went usually. And they had two souls, one human and one a being of the dream... anyone knowing what to look for and with the ability to see aura's, the astral realm, ad other such things could track one down.

The odd thing was a lot of the young refugees had stuffed animals, mostly of various cats or big cats, that were soaked in glamor... a fae, and a selie one rather than unselie, was some where passing around enchanted toys. o.O While mostly harmless it could wake up the other soul of a dormant fae, and subject some children to some horrid nightmares. Though the 'flavor' of glamor being passed around should mostly insure they have the most sweetest of dreams, there was still the chance it might not be enough to make them good ones like intended with all that has happened. But unfortunately not all fae think things through very well.

The trail lead Osman a bit away from embassy some to several stands where people where handing things out to the refugees. To no, or little, surprise there a young man there giving out dolls and toys to the kids and seeing his astral form showed him to have floppy light brown bunny ears, big furry legs, and a fluffy tail... he looked like some kinda bunny satyr almost. Freaking Pooka.... whats a prankster want with him? x.x

Well he has to be on his best behavior, all he needs is a crowd of enchanted kids wanting to know from there parents why the scary freaky man is messing with there funny bunny man. x.x

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

Osman is tempted to just walk right back out, but before he dismisses the Pookah, he remembers the movie Harvey and Donnie Darko.  Yeah 'just movies'...so was The Sword and the Stone before he found out Wizards are real.  Don't diss the bunny just because this one seems more like Who Framed Roger Rabbit than....whatever...that...nighmarish thing in Darko was called.

"I am not pleased to not be here." Ahem.  "Was there not something you wanted to not talk about or should I stay?"

That SEEMED the right way to say it?

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

The fae turned and gave Osman and odd look and then gave a hardy laugh extending his hand to shake Osman's if he will. "My arn't you a stoic one for one so lovely." he said smiling, he turns ruffling the hair of a kid waiting and handing him an enchanted teady bear. He turns waving you to follow as he heads into an ally way. "Stay there, I don't need to talk to you." When he read the letter he had remembered there was some fae that had odd mannerisms in the way they talked, now that he was here he remembered now. Pooka couldn't tell the truth, or at least it was very hard for them, thus it was common place for them to always lie to there allies rather than have them wonder if it was a lie or not. This fella seams to have taken to saying the opposite of what he meant, clever but not to creative by fae standards.

"I'm ugly as as do....oh right.  Thanks." He grins.  Yeah.  Clocks stop in his presence and then follows after the Pooka.  "Well, I'm all game to hear/not hear what you have to say.  You've risen my curiosity at the least, and I'm willing to hear the time.  What's up?"

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

He smiles some walking back to a transport, though the doors were welded shut... there didn't seam to be a way for anything besides air to get in and out. Then he got out some chalk and drew a door and opened it like it was the easiest thing in the world walking into the back where a lot of the toys where stored.

Osman is a mage, so he's seen some weird things but...this?  Well, they are fairies.  Assuming that Osman is welcome to follow, he goes right behind the white rabbit, wondering if he's going to end up like Alice....

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

Well this rabbit was brown but there was plenty of tails that hinted at a Pooka's ability to travel in odd and unusual ways.

The rabbit walked over and dramatically pulled a sheet off a table revealing... er... well a table with flair and a kinda 'tada' manor. o.O Then he turned to the table and started drawing circles and lines. At first it was a little confusing what he might be doing then it was clear he was drawing a map of the inner solar system, the kind where the earth is in the middle... It was accurate but complicated map, the maps that showed the sun in the middle were so much easier, but these maps showed the way the realms moved in and out of each other among other things. It was the kinda map that took some understanding to read, thankfully Osman could read it fine.

What really was odd though was when the man stepped back and looked at the map through his fingers, like a picture frame and smiled licking his lips nodding.

The chalk rose up from the table taking the forms of planets, the sun, shaded clouds of realms, and the like. Then color came to the chalk, and then it was no longer chalk at all... the sun burned and the earth had water... or least it all seamed to be. It was all in there minds a chimerical illusion, just a dream of a dream but it was impressive none the less.

"We all have people that need our help don't we? Do we listen or not?" He wiggles his finger around the little metal orb keeping itself on the other side of the sun from the earth. "Can anything really be perfect? What would happen if something was?" The ball twisted together into a sphere with a chrome like finish odd lights moving around it. "Can perfection dream of anything other than perfection?" He had seamed rather cheerful, but not so much now. The chrome sphere moved from it's orbit and moved to the earth joining the moon in it's orbit. The energies flowing from the flux and the dream was broken down by it's presence...not completely but by a good deal. Something keep moving down from the sphere to the planet and the moon slowly spreading the chrome over them as well... the whole time the dream and the flux growing weaker. Just showing this causes the illusion to falter some and it soon falls appart back into chalk on the table.

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

"Well...THAT's not good.  Autochromia is going to pull itself into the orbit of the moon and the earth and start Borgifying it?" It takes him a moment to realize,"You want ME to stop it? I mean, I'm willing to try but I'm just an appentice mage...but....sure ...what the hell...I take it this is a 'will happen' rather than a 'might happen'...have you recruited anyone else? Is there somewhere I can like...meet them?"

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

"There others who see the past... people I don't speak for. People so much better at socializing than myself. What they don't know is others aren't making plans." He throws the chalk over his left shoulder shattering it on the wall, the dust collects in the air swirling around into another chimerical illusion, this time showing a map of the area around them. It shifted to show a particular docking bay. "You may or may not find them here. They don't need a skilled co-pilot, nor a navigator like you." The space around Autochromia could sprout up with thick spiritual barriers at a moments notice, and getting there wouldn't be easy. One of the incarnations of the weaver is not an easy thing to approach when it don't want you to do so.

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

"Thanks friend.  I might not be much of a mage, but I can drive a spaceship.  I'd be honored to get someone who can DO something from point A to point b."  He smiles sardonically, "And as far as doing good, it beats the hell out of being a vivisection experiment.   I will leave immediately...unless there is anything you can...'not' tell me?" He smiles.

"Yup, they told me everything for this." He smiled some sitting on top of the stuffed animals. Should Osman look the 'entrance' was opened up in the wall again... though this time just as a round hole with no door.

In reply to Azraile (msg # 15):

Osman tips his hat that isn't there (Appropriate for a pooka anyway), nods his head and then heads back to his ship.  He informs them that he is needed by Destiny for an important mission to save thousands of lives.  Anyone who wants to go it alone (in the insanely alien, broken and hostile future...) is welcome off the ship will a small amount of money to start...

Volunteers only.

After that, he will kick up the nav drive and head toward that Hanger.

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

(Isnainly lucky roll at an insainly lucky time lol)

Osman's painting of the importance of what he had to do, and the reminders of how scary some of the changes are enough to nearly double his followers, the rest of the escapees take there chances with the refugees. Turns out though they are denied access to enter the embassies air space let alone land there, he would have to walk there.

One of the new to join up was a marine captain, and while he had very little experience he promised he would have the ship and her 'crew' sorted out by the time Osman returned.

(cult rises to 5 - includes a leader(cap), a researcher with some knowledge of umbrude, a mechanic, and a some what capable body guard totaling to 10 members.)

Re: Interlude 1 - Osman

Osman personally welcomes each of the new followers and appreciates their participation.  He will walk to each embassy the refugees request access too and request their admittance personally if he can, or do the best he can while still moving to take off as best he can.

(Will define the new folks as required in PM :D )
