You can always hope, but to be honest, if your being chased, slipping though a shadow without a peep is a good thing.

Had a character once shadow walk into a new shadow, which she had never been to before. There was a shadow of her in the place that had somehow gotten assassins after her, as because her and I looked alike, they tried to kill me.

The point is... everything exists in shadow, and not all of it works out in ones favor... unless you probability manipulate the heck out of everything...
