Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Hopefully my description isn't too inept.

It's been a strange weekend, both with my master's behavior and with the music I've been listening to.

quote:
Commrade Duck !
You have been given until daybreak in Murmansk
To get your cotton-picking trucks out of the U-S-S-of-R
YOU VILL COPY!!!

I have no idea what any of that meant, but you're doing fine so far.   I've been a bit busy at work, but I'll update in the next day or soon.

It was an excerpt from one of the songs I've been listening to. "Round The World With The Rubber Duck"

Believe me, I know, Nagi.

Youtube is a crazy place for a werewolf to wander through finding music in. It helps that I took a class on Non-Western Music Ethnography in college, too.

I've got some odd songs among my favorites, too.  Not odd compared to those liked by rpol people, of course.  :)

Yes, I definitely know Siuil A Ruin. I have two different versions on DVDs in PBS specials.

I like a lot of filk, celtic, and some rock... no rap, old school rap can be called other things and new rap has a great be C in front of it...

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

hmmm... having played amber before and read the books again recently i cant help but wonder about parentage...

And the funny thing is I have Tony somewhat narrowed down, though a ringer could always happen...
Daniel... I actually also have narrowed down to about 5 possibles...
and my own... i have a list that has the ones i don't think it could be... and sometimes im wrong... very wrong.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Well, lets start with the ones that i am fairly sure are not one of the parents... Flora and Llewella... who in short, are either too 'fluffy' or better at placing kids then showed... also Llewella has blue-green skin from being from the city reflected beneath the waves.

And then the ringer, the man who shows up on every list just because you should never count him out, Random... granted, for you tony he is one of the ones that show up on your main list. (granted, i would say Droppa MaPantz before Random, but her isn't family...)

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Don't forget the example that happened in Benedict's line... I might not be an immediate child of one of them, but a grandchild or great-grandchild.

Of course, if Mom turns out to be Fiona it would be just freaky.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

For you the only red head that mad it on my list was brand, because he would go to a whacked out place like that... Fiona is... no, if you were her spawn(she doesn't have kids) you would be in a carefully guarded lab or shadow...

*ponders Daniel's post in another game they are both in*

Are you really sure that you understand the genre?

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

It was in a superhero game, in which his character approached two other heroes who didn't know him, and he seemed very surprised that they attacked him as a possible ambusher. It's an old classic of the superhero genre for misunderstandings to happen when heroes first meet each other. Especially when, as in this case, one hero had just been dealing with a possible villain or criminal causing trouble.

Well, depending on how he approached, it might make sense.

If I approached in what I thought was a non-threatening manner, I'd be a little miffed at being attacked without warning.

Which game, by the way?    I'm pretty full up, but I'm always up for a superhero game.

"Saving the World, Repeatedly" run by Tsair. The approach in question was in the thread Torrent City, post #76 I believe.
