Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Yes, the only way it's contagious is if I use that leg and kick someone else in the knee.   :)

But, you're right.  I need to get this taken care of.

Not sure what country you are in, The Pattern, but I hope that the veterinarian bills there aren't the outrage that they are here.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I have pretty good insurance, all things considered, though.  My doctor's seen me quickly before.  I'm hoping for the best.

I may need to sleep soon, though, to make sure I'm awake for it, though.

Wuf. Sleep well. We may be awaiting posts to answer, but your real life health takes precedence over games any night.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I should update some more, but my own creative juices have dried up for the night, at least as a GM.
Have a good night, folks.  I'll be back full time this weekend, and I'll try to get more done then.

ok, take care, and alternate hot and cold on your knee, it will help, and it feels oddly good if you do it right.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Turns out it was tendonitis.  It's already feeling better after a couple of days of rest.  It was a bit tender, and probably a flareup of an old high school wrestling injury, aggravated by walking on concrete floors.

I'll be better soon enough.

Thanks for your worry, though.  :)

Wuf. Unpleasant, but not something serious. Good.

good to hear that it was something that could be handled with some rest and recovery rather then needing something more drastic.

you haven't read "the cat who" books... KoKo is a downright spoiled cat... granted, put onion in his meatloaf, and he eats around it!

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

No, I haven't, actually. Although I've seen them on the library shelves often enough.

This is more a case of lousy meatloaf than unwanted veggies in it, though.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

My mother made amazing meatloaf.  It's all about what you put in it.

On a sadder note, I'm running out of time and won't be able to update until tomorrow, I think.   I'll be on soon, though.  I've got a bit of a headache, and am heading to bed.

It's much better.  I'm hoping for a full recovery, at least until it flares up again, in a day or so.

I think my knee is prone to it, after some prior injuries, due to scar tissue and the like.

Wuf?

Does aspirin help with the inflammation?

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

Yeah, things tend to go that way. I constantly worry that my knees will snap because when i was younger I put them though hell, and my kneecaps are very loose, as in i can push them halfway out of position to either side....

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I could push my kneecaps like that too, when I was younger.   hopefully that's not a bad sign.

Aspirin and Ibuprophin helped.  I'll stick to that for now.

I'm probably going to nap soon.   My sleep schedule got zonked this weekend.   Take care.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

My kneecaps don't do that, but than, I'm canine.
Aspirin is an excellent anti-inflammatory as well as a pain reliever. Folks are lucky to be able to buy it off the shelf, rather than hunting the beaver when they need it like in old days.
