*smirks*  Not everything has to be weird, you know.

Not everything has to be normal, either. I just approach the balance point (integral?) from the other side.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

normal is a point of view held by a group of people who all agree that something is "normal".... meaning everything is weird to someone.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

True enough.   I prefer a mix, so that the Normal can give the Weird perspective.

It's like my philosophy of "Realistic Fantasy", where things can be as magical and strange as they want to be, but the normal things should stay normal.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I've always been a bit behind my human peers as far as aging... seems that werewolf biology matures at about 2/3rds the speed of human biology (8 year teeth coming in at 12 years old, puberty not completing until I was past 20, etc.). Chronologically, I'm 43. I don't look it.

I reached Adult at 12(gods, how some boys are still stuck at 6) and stopped aging for the most part, however... well, lets just say if the stories about unicorns are true, i can still ride one, granted it would more then likely be a black one and we would read dirty books together...

Ever seen the unicorn story in the Thieves World novels? The painter who could make his artwork come to life drew all of the city's vice and sin in the form of a black unicorn for some reason. It was... interesting.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I liked the Thieves World books, though they got depressing after a while.

Happy Birthday, Nagi.   I'm a bit older than you, but I feel older due to neglect.  :)

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I agree that they got depressing, especially after one of the authors started killing off the gods. One single god, being defeated by the demigod champion of another pantheon made sense. A storm that washed away divinity throughout the region was not good storytelling.

Daniel, if I might make a suggestion?
You have 15 active games right now. Try sticking with just a few and cultivate them, instead of spreading your efforts wildly across too many games and spreading yourself thin.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

*blinks as she realizes something* oh god... i feel sort of odd right now... but Im going to say this and he will get it... the last 2 last Zelda games i was in died... BADLY... so I looked at your rmail with a touch of "great, another game that will get my hopes up and then die"

Also, no offence, but having seen how you post here, I get the feeling I would just find myself frustrated by what i am starting to call redshirt/stormtrooper/sidekick syndrome... not a pleasant thing.

Re: OOC: Talk the talk before you walk the walk.

I have a few that are inactive waiting for players, and a couple nobody's really posting in. The total of my games with conistant posts: 3, yes, 3
Also, I now know how to hold myself back to read over what I typed, allowing longer, better posts from my DSiXL, like now. This wasn't a one liner, I've been having longer posts in my Zelda game. Also, that one has a definate place in the timeline, after Twilight Princess.

I have none that I know of. I'm waiting for others to post in them, as I don't have anything that will work.

Which game? I didn't know one was waiting on me, I've been waiting on the players in most of them.
I've been busy with limited time with DSi, and playing Zelda on my computer.
