The streets of  Estrea

About the same time as Stark exits the building the blue eyed stranger exits heading up the street in the same general direction. The streets in the travellers quarters are corwded, noisy and filled with merchants, peddlers, beggars and more than one or two cut purses trying to make a living off the folk coming and going from the city.
There are few places one could get a moments privacy on the street or stop without being jostled and cursed during the day time hours. so making your way through the dense mob was a skill that took time and practice to perfect. the locals moved through the crowds like fish swimming though water while first timers were bufffeted and tossed like a ship in a thunderstorm.

Re: The streets of  Estrea

ooking at the directions Zi’ha’na walks briskly in the direction of the academy, but it is clear he has no skill in moving through crowds like this.   He considered his options, and decided that being slow was better than being noticed.  The older man that exited with him seemed to have better skill moving through the crowd and followed his wake as he moved.  Eventually it became clear that he was heading to the academy also.  When he stopped off at the courier’s guild Zi was forced again to fight the crowds.  Finally reaching the gates to the academy and the freedom from the crush of people Zi starts to move towards the large glass building he suspects Lord Rosh to be.

Re: The streets of  Estrea

Stark had been in many cities. His size and confidence in movement allowed him to pass through the crowds with ease. He had one stop before the Academy and luckily it was on the way. Up ahead he saw the sign for the courier guild house. There hadn't been any commissions available when he'd stopped by before he'd headed to the chapter house but that didn't mean that there weren't any now.

He ducked in to the open double doors of the tall, narrow building and headed for the big peg board behind the front desk to see if there were any commissions ready.

Re: The streets of  Estrea

The Courier guild is as busy as ever. the boards are laden with one star mail runs. Cargo runs, and paying passengers. Non of the runs seem to be paying more than enough to cover feul costs. The remote location of estrea was a blessing and a curse it meant that few heavy haulers had moved into the area. But it also meant the bulk of the runs were low paying.
Next to the Peg board there are dozens of notices, flyers and bullitians a single bright yellow sheet of paper was marked with the Black Diamond that marked it as a piracy report. A pair of Black Diomond flagged ships had been seen in the area for several days. though no ships had been attacked since their arrival. Pilots are warned to avoid the ships and report them to the Estrea Sky Guard as soon as possible.

Zi you can move onto Academy thread...

Stark sighed and lifted some of the cylinders half-heartedly to check their destinations. Well, he could always take one to another destination and work from there if this Academy thing didn't pan out. He waved absently at the attendant as he left.

He made his way to the Academy...

Re: The streets of  Estrea

Alisdair ran out into the street, looking for the old pilot. He seemed to know where he was going, and it was always better to present yourself to an employer as a team.
He hurried through the streets towards the green houses, shouldering his way through the crowd and trying to catch sight of Stark. He moved through the mass of people oddly, as if he was trying to spend as little time possible in contact with any one of them, and moving towards any open space that presented itself.
He eventually caught sight of Stark as he exited the Courier's Guildhouse, and by some dint of luck managed to keep him in his sights all the way to the Academy.
