There’s a 5% chance of an encounter, page 75,
occurring each time the PCs enter a hex, and a 15% chance
per day or night spent exploring or camping. Take care not
to overwhelm the PCs with encounters it’s usually good to
limit wandering monster encounters to once per day.

Tim: Bad Moving slow, but can't be helped.  Yay MRA on long trip.  Ugly: flipping through spell book, jinxy found smelly thing in it!

Jinxy:  Nice to be playing Jinxy.  Bad slow going.  Played out backstory to help unite group.  Kinda sad group glazed over group getting together, on the other hand, not.  Room of applicants rather than already in office.  Props to Tim for doing two chars well.

Me:  Yay starting EARLY.  Love Pathfinder.  Yay Jinxy!  Bad not done char creation, but unavoidable and didnt take long.

Tim: Good Game MRA.  Squeezed in 2 combats. char dev. interactin with npcs.  this is what i was looking foward to.  Bad:  Rules familiarity.  Ugly: Jinxy for gnashing teeth.
Salow: Yay for playing.  Well balanced group.  Bad:  Rules familiarity.  Wish we coulda started earlier.  More intro to chars would have been nice.  Ugly:  Tim, Tread KO 2 people.

tim: good early start.  slightly guiding.  "perception checks!  you hear screaming!"  really enjoyed your roleplaying of the kobolds.  bad: still learning system.  ugly: jinxy shined a lot today.

salow: yay for playing.  yay yay yay.  yay.  yay yay.  yay.  got some more of the story.  actual completed quest: getting the ring.  like the sandboxiness.  laundry list of things to do.  stag lord long term.  zombie.  bad: jinxie going down in cave but unavoidable.  ugly to jinxy.  the whole game.

byron: yay playing jinxy.  yay pathfinder.  yay getting stuff accomplished.  bad: got SO much going on, it's a little overwhelming.  need active quests written out to keep track.  ugly: salow for letting the mite go.

9th: Bandits ambush defeated with diplomacy
10th: Uneventful travel
11th: Arrived at Oleg's late at night and return wedding ring!
12th: Met Jhod Kavken (cleric) and Kesten Garess (Aldori Dualist).  Ordered building of jail.  Ambushed by rat-looking dog: Brush Thylacine
13th: finished exploring area outside Oleg's Trading post, werewolf ambush!
14th: began exploring forest area with radish patch.  Defeated red kobolds and recruited them.

PCs 1 day into exploring forest area with radishes

Tim: good: you rock at playing NPC kobolds.  pleased at the progression.  Explored 1.5 hexes AFTER byron arrived.  twisted our arms to buy horses.  GM helping players along goodness.  rolling perception checks so you don't miss out on storyline.  bad: getting a little too wound up in tiny details?   finding out the difference between marsupial and rodent?  slowed down game.  no bads directly game wise.  Ugly: to Jinxy for freaking out over Wherewolf  (TY, salow for quest log)

Byron: good: yay for playing in spite of having to work.  I find the amount of flavor and story is intriguing, unexpected.  bad: latching down on finer details.  Let's explore the 1 hex by foot.  Ugly: Gaijin for converting people instead of killing.

Salow: good: storyline definitely taking off.  quest log helps keep track.  bad: semantics of some stuff.  who cares?  Ugly: Tread for picking up the wolf by the scruff of the neck.

For next time:  Calendar.  LOOT list!

16th about noon returned to Oleg's.  Saint has Church of Sarenrae's endorsement.
17th ambushed at night in D4 by pack of wolves
18th 1/2 a day at e5, rickety bridge
19th noon, finished exploring thorn river crossing
20th mite ambush and visit sootscale kobolds.
21st clear mite lair.  Fox and Bear converted.  explore old sycamore hex
22nd found gold mine
23rd found spider lair

Tim good: squeezed in a lot!  Combat and RP alike.  Multiple ways to accomplished.  Got a lot more done in less time.  RPing the NPCs and monsters.  Bad: forgetting the folder.  Ugly to Gaijin for hiring the bandits.
Byron good: yay playing.  did get a lot accomplished.  yay leveling up!  lot of handwave meh whatever.  we're building a kingdom, not just inheriting one.  bad: myself for getting distracted.  AUSA stuff.  Ugly to Tim for RP.
Salow: good what they said.  Char development.  Love seeing the map get filled in.  bad: slow start at beginning.  Ugly to Jinxy for Undercommon rants.
GM comments.  Map hexes for AUSA?  Ugly to Gaijin for hiring bandits.  Ugly to Tread for tanking right after being KO'd.

Tim: Ugly to Jinxy for "Jinxie's group" even when he was hiding.  Good, started late, accomplished a lot anyway.  Yay for ambushes!  Sandbox thing works well for fitting a lot in.  No unneeded research.  Things went smoothly.  Convincing RPing of the wild-eyed guy.  No bads.

Salow Good yay for playing.   I missed Pathfinder.  Dynamic between chars is amazing.  Bad on us for slow start.  Ugly to Saint for researching the spell names.

Byron good yay playing.  yay new level.  getting a lot explored.  no bads.  Ugly to Tim for being like white on rice.

Me: yay starting on town building.  yay exploring the squares.  yay for being in character.  Ugly to Salow for epic long answer to Saint's questionnaire.

12th Travel to Fairies.  Killed Goblins.  Rescued Jack.
13th explored C3.
14th explored C2.  Began disabling the unmarked traps.
15th extra day to trigger the unmarked traps
16th explored B2.
17th explored B3.  Defeated dragon.
18th explored A3.
19th expored A2.  Did NOT loot the dead barbarian's Cairn (pg. 18)
20th explored A1.

22nd explored C1.  Whiptail centipede.

24th Return to Oleg at noon.  Prison had been completed.  Oleg updated on progress.  Promised more funding once the Stag Lord is defeated.

Salow good yay for map completions!  i think a lot of our kingdom building ideas are coming up.  no bad.  Ugly for Saint for encouraging the converts.
Me good: GMPC!  bad: tim looked bored with combat.  ugly to both for enjoying jack!

Combat needs to be more challenging.

3rd-7th travel back to Oleg.
8th discover prisoners escaped.  begin traveling south.
12th in evening arrive at The Bandit Lord's Fort.


Tim ugly to Jinxy for not Meta disrupt undead.  Good: Yay for finally fighting and defeating the stag lord.  We have freed ourselves!  Pressure off the PC's shoulders.  Yay Cyrus!  Prepping his charsheet.  Printing the map.  No bads.  Yay for out/in for my chars.  I like the cards.

Salow ugly to Tim for playing 3 chars.  Good I concur with Tim.

Cyrus: good I missed RP.  Pathfinder seemed relatively simple.  Walking into a map and beating the crap outta stuff.  Bad: I felt the zombie minefield was cheap/weird.  Ugly to Salow for intimidating the stag lord.

Byron: Yay cyrus playing!  Taking on the Stag Lord.  Definately a challenge.  Bad rules knowledge.  Ugly to Cyrus BUT it's gunna go to Tim for RPing and creative use of Command.

GM: Cudos to Cyrus for pointing out missing bandits.  Tim for Shelly's Dune voice.  Salow for tanking Stag Lord.

13th.  Defeat Stag Lord!  And his nasty dad.
16th:  Arrive at C5.  Explored.  Tamed the Boggard
17th:  Statue of Erastil.
19th:  Arrived at Oleg!  Word sent to Restov about Stag Lord defeat.  Gaijin drops the Bastard Bomb.

Salow good Fantastic!  We leveled up!  Completed 1st module!  No bads.  Ugly to Tread because she pinned the badguy to the wall.

Tim ugly for Gaijin being psychic dropping the bomb about his heritage.  Bad that Byron is missing out on a lot.  Suggestion: make sure you get with Byron about if he'll switch out Jinxy.  Good moving things along.  Getting us to end of module 1 so we can get started on chatting about kingdom.  We leveled.  (You found an excuse)  Honorable mention to how much effort you put into gaming today.  (Completely forgot about posting for RPOL Sat. )

23rd.  4 days later, Audrey Windsong (CG elf archer fighter/sorc) and Jinxy both arrive at Oleg's.

6 months into kingdom building.
nest month is Neth.

pg 63 for kingdom stuff.

Salow good: yay to finally getting into kingdom building thing.  always good to just get together.  bad: rules familiarity.  goodbad slow going getting into the kingdom making process.  ugly to byron for introducing his new character.

tim good jumping into kingdom building.  as usual i get to see 1st hand how much effort he puts into prep.  thanks to host for food.  bad you mentioned you were going to try and squeeze in combat.  we didn't have time for capturing the criminal into an encounter.  we didn't roleplay.  but this is a learning experience.  ugly to byron for more than just introing the new char.  cudos for coming in spite of work and illness.

byron good it's nice to get into the actual building of the cities and what not.  I like stuff like this.  Wunna play sim city.  Wunna run this campeign.  bad: if you're going to alter some rules be careful as to what other rules tie into it.

decided to leave in the deposit/ withdraw rules.
