This game will be set in the middle of the Last War. Players will be fighting for the nation of Cyre through a series of mission-styled er, missions.

...anyway, what I'll need from you, the player, is:

Character Name:
Alignment/Race/Class/:
Rough Concept: (if you had to summarize your character in one sentence, what would it be?)
Personality:
Backstory: This should contain a number of things, most importantly:

1) Your character's views on Cyre and the Last War
2) How the Last War has affected your character
3) Why is your character now in a recruiting tent for the Cyre Borderguard

Good backstories will also reflect your writing ability. I'm not looking for three page essays though. Keep it short, but sweet.

Also, please include a short (three-four sentence) outline of your character's general playing style (mechnically). Like "wizard, battlefield control, mostly fogs, aoes, and touch spell DPS".

Things to note:
-This campaign will be hard. Not monstrously hard, but decently tough that charging in and killing things is usually the best way to die. Tactics, good coodination and attention to the terrain will see you through the encounters. Good roleplay > high diplomacy rolls.

-Please ensure you have read all the House Rules. Everything below has mostly been repeated there;

-There are no Quori or psionics in my game. I don't really think they fit well into the Last War storyline, and plan to keep it that way.

-Warforged at this time are almost all soldiers on the battlefield. There is little concept of a 'free' warforged. If you do play one, you'd need a reason for not being on the frontlines. Also, I might throw convert ops missions at you, which being a giant walking construct of battle kinda counts against.

-If there are any specific feats, items or requirements that you want but aren't normally allowed (such as Able Learner being limited to humans only) I might allow them if you ask nicely and give a good reason. A 'wishlist' of gear would also help me with deciding treasure.

-Hero Points are in use

-EDIT: This game is mature for possible scenes of violence, gore and other sick twisted imaginings from my messed-up head. Nothing Adult, but definately not something you should read to a ten-year-old kid.
