Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
And as we all know, talking is a free action. So don't worry, we can have as long a chat as we'd like before the rest of the group shows up. ;)

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Whoops. Sorry for blowing up the skeleton in your face, Hunter. =P

Hunter's coming along to join you two, but I think I'll be stuck helping Dereen tend to and secure our other prisoner for a while.

(Which will make it even more interesting if I happen to miss the entire show, and then wonder endlessly about what the Khyber is going on with the wizard-warlock tensions. Fun.)

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
As I said, let's have this argument once, when we're all together again. :)

We seem to be a few rounds ahead of the others, but I'll let the GMs decide. Can my caterpillar join us before its duration ends? I want to (a) poison Greta until she's Dex 0 paralysed, mostly out of spite, and (b) intimidate Aetheron. >:D

Though we've probably gone much longer than its three rounds as it is.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Caterpillar will probably expire by the time it actually reaches you.

Hunter, you may choose to insert yourself anything into the conversation now. I'll leave it to your judgement.

Keep going guys, the co-GM and I are really enjoying the party dynamics right now :P

The main danger appears to be over - so let the heart to heart talks begin.

Just checking, since we never actually established it: we did stabilize Greta, right?

But then we can't keep one hostage to ensure the other's continued good behavior.

Anyway, the ball's now in your court, Dereen. Give the man a Band-Aid.

I have an elaborate plan for dealing with the prisoners, which should hopefully prove my usefulness. :) Just as long as you let me live long enough to explain it.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
Don't worry - only Aetheron seems likely to blast you at this point in time. =P

By the way, Hunter, I think Siberys mentioned that Hansel and Greta's contact would be meeting them on the next tri-moon, in a couple of days' time. Or something along those lines.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
These were the letters, for reference:
Siberys:
They are, as follows (from bottom to top, a "---" indicates a new letter):

I trust the integration was successful? The halfling is indeed an unforeseen complication, but should not pose a problem in the long run. As I understand, House Jorasco has a habit of reassigning healers to "whomever doth need them most". Patience is key. You are here to observe and prepare, nothing more.

---

With regard to your last query: As much as we  would like to claim credit for that delightful little outbreak I am afraid your plague is entirely natural. On the bright side, you should have ample raw materials by the time this is over if it is indeed as virulent as you describe.

---

The findings in your last report  were intriguing. Continue your experimentation on animation and disease, with focus on any unusual properties gained from different skin traits or mutations. But do not lose sight of your original purpose. Note that as of this message, the crows have taken flight.

---

As agreed, enclosed are the reagents and poisons you have requested in exchange for the samples you sent. I expect positive results by the next tri-moon.

---

While your report on the medicinal applications of flesh-eating undead is somewhat amusing, it is also an utter waste of time. It seems that you have both forgotten the core principal of our organization: that which does not last can always be replaced.

---

I will be passing through under the cover of night in two days. Ensure that there are no complications while I am in the vicinity.

We don't know when they were sent, unfortunately, so we can't say when the other will arrive.

gah, hard to keep things straight in my head, we are in red cliff in my other game...

Glad to see I at least remembered correctly that the meeting was just a few days ago, possibly.

I didn't know when the tri-moon was, so I thought we'd have to wait for the contact as well. Pity. I thought I could meet him as Greta. :)

Sounds like a hook for a future mission. :)

And the conversation is coming back my way, it seems. That's good - I was starting to get bored........

About the treasure, I used both vials of stonebreaker acid to clear cave-ins in the mine.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
So who wants what from the loot? I'm willing to pass on my first round. I mean, I'd kind of like the ring, but my AC is pretty good already and I'm one to try and avoid melee combat, so I'm willing to defer to someone who needs it more. And none of the rest of the stuff is all that useful to me.

Re: OOC (Out of Character Chat)
well I for one have no need of any of it. I think we should just sell all of it (except what people want/can use) and split the money. After all as our fight with the ghost proved we could use some new gear...

My AC is terrible (sans spells, I have AC 12), so I'd really like that ring. :)

I don't really need any of the items.

Some spending money after we liquidate the remaining loot would be nice, though.
